Call is Out For Full-Time Police Officers in Manalapan
The police department has opened up the hiring process through June 22.

MANALAPAN, N.J.—The Manalapan Township Police Department has officially opened its hiring process for full time police officers, but only the first 150 to apply will be considered.
To apply, applicants must visit the department website and follow the instructions underneath the recruitment tab, ensuring all paperwork is filled out.
All applications must be returned in person at Manalapan Township Police Department HQ (120 Route 522, Manalapan, NJ 07726) no later than 11:59 p.m. on Wednesday, June 22, 2022. Only the first 150 applicants will proceed in the hiring process.

- Must be a citizen of the United States.
- Must be a resident of the State of New Jersey at the time of employment.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must be able read, write and speak the English language well and intelligently.
- Must be sound in body and of good health and be able to perform the physical functions of the duties assigned.
- Must be of good moral character and shall not have been convicted of any crime or offense involving moral turpitude or dishonesty that would make him/her unfit to perform the duties of police officer.
- Must have a minimum of 60 college credits or honorable military service.
