Car Break-In at the Englishtown Auction

A shopper's purse was taken from their car late last month.

Englishtown, NJ - Be warned not to leave valuables in your car if you plan to shop at the Englishtown Auction flea market this holiday season:

A Point Pleasant resident reported to Manalapan police that their car was broken into while parked at the auction sometime on Saturday, Nov. 19. The break-in happened sometime during 12:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. that day, the resident told police. Their purse was taken from the car, which contained multiple credit cards.

The Englishtown Auction is opened Saturdays and Sundays from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. year-round. It has five indoor buildings and 40 acres of outdoor shopping. Admission is free.
