Car Break-In at Englishtown Auction; DWI On Tennent Road

MANALAPAN, NJ - A Freehold man drove into several parked cars on Tennent Road Saturday while drunk and then drove off, Manalapan police said. The accident happened around 5 p.m. Saturday on Tennent Road in the area of Taylors Mills Road; several vehicles were struck. The driver fled the scene toward Rt. 9 and was immediately located. Enrique Ricardas, a 36-year-old married male who resides in Freehold Township and is employed as a landscaper, was found to be operating his vehicle while intoxicated, police said. Ricardas was arrested and transported to Manalapan Township Police Headquarters.

Lock your cars if you go to the Englishtown Auction! A 61-year-old Totowa woman reported that her unlocked car was entered Sunday afternoon while she had it parked at the Englishtown Auction. A bag containing personal and business items along with $100 in cash was stolen. There was no damage to the car.

And last Monday, April 17, someone vandalized a car parked at Kuschick Pavilion. Two side view mirrors were knocked off the car while it was parked near the pavilion Monday night.
