Careful use of insecticide

As we will all be spending more time outdoors, insecticide use becomes more common.

If you have young children, insecticides with DEET  are especially dangerous. They are quite toxic to young children who breath in or swallow them and not great for adults either.

If you use DEET insecticide use the lowest DEET concentration possible.

DEET and other insecticides will not deter spiders which are not insects but arachnids. The most dangerous of them, I have written about before
-the Brown Recluse spider which can cause tissue necrosis and worse.
