'Critical Need' Blood Drive Tuesday In Manalapan
The Manalapan Police Department Superior Officers Association is sponsoring a blood drive Tuesday, from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m., in town.

MANALAPAN, NJ — A "critical need" blood and blood platelet drive is taking place Tuesday, Aug. 23, at the Municipal Complex. It will take place from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m. The complex is at 120 County Road 522.
There is a summer blood shortage, according to information on the blood drive flyer and help is needed. The drive is sponsored by the Manalapan Police Department Superior Officers Association.
Medical eligibility questions can be answered at 732-235-8100, ext 248 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital's Blood Donor Room.

Blood donors will receive a $5 Starbucks gift card and a tote bag. Platelet donors will receive a $10 ShopRite gift card, organizers said.
