Freehold, NJ - A driver suffered a fatal medical episode Wednesday afternoon on Rt. 9 just south of the Freehold Raceway Mall, which sent his car careening across four lanes of busy traffic and into a pole, according to <a href="http://www.app.com/story/news/crime/jersey-mayhem/2015/12/23/driver-dies-freehold-township/77838412/" rel="noopener nofollow" target="_blank">the Asbury Park Press</a>.The driver was at a red light at the intersection of Rt. 9 South and Rt. 524 (also known as Elton-Adelphia Road) when he suffered the medical episode, <a href="http://www.app.com/story/news/crime/jersey-mayhem/2015/12/23/driver-dies-freehold-township/77838412/" rel="noopener nofollow" target="_blank">the Press reports</a>. His foot hit the accelerator, sending the car across four lanes of traffic and into a Department of Transportation pole.
