MANALAPAN, NJ — There will be a DWI checkpoint in Manalapan Friday night, Sept. 29, the Monmouth County DWI Task Force announced. The checkpoint will be run from 10 p.m. Friday through 2 a.m. Saturday on Rt. 9 south. Task Force members and Manalapan police will be pulling vehicles over from the southbound lanes into the Sun Bank parking lot to determine driver's sobriety, said Brielle Police Chief Michael W.
