Englishtown Limo Driver Nearly Hit by Falling Forklift
A falling forklift in an accident on the Turnpike nearly missed hitting the limo by about 15 seconds.

South Brunswick, NJ - A tractor trailer crashed into the Ridge Road/Route 522 overpass above the NJ Turnpike at about 12 p.m. Tuesday, according to TAP Into.
The tractor trailer was carrying a forklift on its bed, and the force of the impact threw the forklift up into the air and through the protective barrier of Rt. 522. The forklift landed on Ridge Road, where it just narrowly missed hitting an Englishtown-based limousine driving west on Ridge Road by about 15-20 seconds, TAP Into reported.
“It just missed him. He called in right after. He was shaken up,” secretary Maria Lepri of First Class Limousine in Englishtown told TAP Into of the driver.

Lepri said the driver was on his way to Belle Meade to pick up clients when he saw the forklift fly across Ridge Road.
There were no injuries in the accident, however the NJT northbound was backed up for miles in South Brunswick. Ridge Road was only shut down for about 10 minutes, South Brunswick Police told Patch.
