Commemorating the Civil War Sesquicentennial

Recreating the grace and elegance of a bygone era with dancing and more presented by the Victorian Dance Ensemble.

Civil War Dance Classes: Dressed in period clothing, the members of the Civil War Dance Foundation will conduct a dance demonstration of basic reel and quadrille movements. Audience participation is greatly encouraged. Dance sessions will be held at 12:00, 1:30, and 3:00 pm.

Civil War Fashion and Historic Displays: Experience first hand what the fashion of the 1860’s was like. Come explore and TRY ON examples of accurately made reproductions of period clothing. For ladies, gents, teens, and children! Sessions will be held at 11:30, 1:00, 2:30 and 3:30 pm.
