A non-profit organization is being started in memory of Nicole Trott, an 18-year-old St. John Vianney high school athlete and graduate who passed away recently due to a birth defect in her heart. The fundraiser at Applebee's will be a pancake breakfast on Aug. 7, 2011. We are trying to raise funds to start a scholarship foundation in honor of Nicole and to raise awareness for heart screenings of high school athletes.
Tickets cost $10, $5 children 12 and under.
Write on the organization's Facebook wall if you are planning on buying a ticket and you will be provided information as to when they will be available for pickup. Cash only please.
In addition to the pancake breakfast, a car wash will be held in the Applebee's parking lot that same day. So even if you cannot come to the breakfast, it would be greatly appreciated if you could stop by and get your car washed.
