Presenter Gerald "Jerry" Smith, CGSM, is the author of several books and a number of journal articles. His latest book is Bedford County, Pennsylvania, Quarter Sessions 1771—1801. He is on the faculty for the 2011 session of the Institute for Historic and Genealogical Research at Samford University and is the Vice President and Program Chair of the Monmouth County, New Jersey, Genealogical Society.
