February is "American Heart Month"

The Manalapan Township Health Department wants all residents to live heart healthy lives.

February is “American Heart Month.” 1 in 4 deaths are caused by heart disease each year, making it the leading cause of death for both men and women in the United States. To prevent heart disease, control your blood pressure, blood cholesterol and diabetes. Maintaining a healthy weight by choosing a healthy diet and staying active will lower your chances of heart disease. For more information, please visit the American Heart Association website at www.americanheart.org or call (800) AHA-USA-1.
