Freehold Regional High School District 2013-14 Calendar

Kids across the country are stretching the final days of summer out as much as they possibly can, dreading the flipping of the calendar and the return of the dreaded “S” month.

Yes, Sept. 9 brings with it the return of the school year in Manalapan, but don’t fret kids; in between the beginning of classes and Graduation Day on June 24, 2014, there are plenty of days off.

Here’s a look at the Freehold Regional High School District’s 2013-14 school calendar:

· Monday, Sept. 9: School opens

· Monday, Oct. 14: Columbus Day (School closed)

· Tuesday, Oct. 22-Friday, Oct. 25: Parent-teacher conferences (Early dismissal)

· Thursday, Nov. 7-Friday, Nov. 8: NJEA Convention (School closed)

· Monday, Nov. 11: Veteran’s Day (School closed)

· Wednesday, Nov. 27: Early dismissal

· Thursday, Nov. 28-Friday, Nov. 29: Thanksgiving Holidays (School closed)

· Monday, Dec. 23-Thursday, Jan. 2: Winter Recess (School closed)

· Monday, Jan. 20: Martin Luther King Day (school closed)

· Monday, Feb. 17: President’s Day (school closed)

· Monday, April 14-Monday, April 21: Spring Recess (school closed)

· Monday, May 26: Memorial Day (school closed)

· Friday, June 20: Early dismissal

· Tuesday, June 24: Graduation Day
