FRHSD Holding A Meeting Tuesday To Vote on New Superintendent

The Freehold Regional High School District Board of Education will hold a special meeting at the administration building at 7 p.m. on Tuesday. The board’s agenda includes a resolution approving the employment of Charles Sampson as superintendent. The resolution that the board will be voting on specifies a four-year term at a salary of $177,500.

Sampson was previously the superintendent of Verona School System. As superintendent of Verona, Sampson earned an annual salary of $159,120. Before that, he was principal of Cedar Grove High School in November 2008.

The Freehold Regional High School District includes six schools: Manalapan, Colts Neck, Marlboro, Freehold Township, Freehold, and Howell.
