On Tuesday, December 15, 2020, at approximately 3:47pm, patrols responded to a business located on State Highway 33 in reference to a report of Terroristic Threats. The victim, a 65-year-old advised that a known male subject threatened her over the phone. Patrolman James Guarino handled the report.
On Tuesday, December 15, 2020, at approximately 9:43am, patrols responded to a residence located on Plymouth Lane in reference to a report of Theft. The victim, a 77-year-old resident of Manalapan advised that an unknown actor(s) removed a jewelry box from his residence. This incident is currently under investigation. On Tuesday, December 15, 2020, at approximately 8:21am, patrols responded to a residence located on La Valley Drive in reference to a report of Theft. The victim, a 39-year-old resident of Manalapan advised that an unknown actor(s) removed a package that was delivered to her residence and left on the front porch. This incident is currently under investigation. Patrolman James Guarino handled the report.

On Tuesday, December 15, 2020, at approximately 4:00pm, the victim, a 33-year-old resident of Manalapan responded to Manalapan Township Police Headquarters and reported an incident of Simple Assault. The victim advised that while in a business located on State Highway 9 in Manalapan, he was assaulted by an employee. No injuries resulted from this incident.

On Monday, December 14, 2020, at approximately 6:10pm, the victim, a 61-year-old resident of Manalapan reported an incident of Fraud. The victim advised that while attempting to have his computer repaired remotely he was defrauded out of payment made for fraudulent gift cards. This incident is currently under investigation. On Monday, December 14, 2020, at approximately 5:23pm, the victim, a 75-year-old resident of Manalapan reported an incident of Fraud. The victim advised that he received an email from an unknown subject who stated they were from an online shopping site and purchased gift cards. The victim later learned that the shopping site was fraudulent. This case is currently under investigation. Patrolman John Lightbody handled the report.
On Saturday, December 12, 2020, at approximately 12:09pm, the victim, an 82-year-old resident of Manalapan responded to Manalapan Township Police Headquarters and reported an incident of Fraud. The victim advised that an unknown actor(s) obtained his bank account information and made a fraudulent purchase online. Patrolman James Guarino handled the report.
On Friday, December 11, 2020, at approximately 7:10pm, Patrolman James Guarino conducted a motor vehicle stop on Taylors Mills Road for a motor vehicle violation. Further investigation revealed that the driver, Isiah Casrell, a 35-year-old male, married, self-employed and resident of Freehold Boro, NJ was found to have a warrant that was issued for his arrest by the Monmouth County Superior Court. Mr. Casrell was arrested and transported to Manalapan Township Police Headquarters where he was processed and transported to the Monmouth County Correctional Institution. Patrolman James Guarino handled the arrest.
On Friday, December 11, 2020, at approximately 1:04pm, the victim, a 40-year-old resident of Manalapan responded to Manalapan Township Police Headquarters and reported an incident of Theft. The victim advised that a package was removed from his front porch sometime after it was delivered. This incident is currently under investigation. Patrolman Jeffrey Emslie handled
the report.
On Wednesday, December 10, 2020, at approximately 5:36pm, patrols responded to a residence located on Amberly Drive in reference to a report of Fraud. The victim, a 76-year-old resident of Manalapan advised that he was contacted by an unknown subject claiming to be a representative of a large computer company and advised him his computer, phone, and bank account were compromised. The subject further convinced the victim to purchase several gift cards and provide the card numbers to rectify the problem. The victim subsequently realized that the company was fraudulent. This case is currently under investigation. Patrolman Christopher Makwinski handled the report.
On Wednesday, December 9, 2020, at approximately 5:15pm, the victim, a 51-year-old resident of Manalapan responded to Manalapan Township Police Headquarters and advised that an unknown actor(s) opened a loan account utilizing his personal information. This incident is currently under investigation. Patrolman Reginald Grant handled the report.
On Wednesday, December 9, 2020, at approximately 11:26am, Patrolman James Guarino conducted a motor vehicle stop on Tennent Road for a motor vehicle violation. Further investigation revealed that the passenger, Lillian Dubois, a 35-year-old female, single, employed at a department store and resident of Manalapan had four warrants that were issued for her arrest by the Manalapan Township Municipal Court in the amount of $3,786.00. Ms. Dubois
was arrested and transported to Manalapan Township Police Headquarters where she was processed and transported to the Monmouth County Correctional Institution in default of bail. Patrolman James Guarino handled the arrest.
On Wednesday, December 9, 2020, at approximately 8:22am, patrols responded to a business located on Taylors Mills Road in reference to a report of Burglary/Criminal Mischief. Further investigation revealed that the business was unlawfully entered by unknown actor(s) by prying open the entrance doors. This case is currently under investigation. Patrolman James Guarino handled the report.
On Wednesday, December 9, 2020, at approximately 11:48 am, patrols responded to a convenience store located on Union Hill Road in reference to a report of Theft. Further investigation revealed that an employee from the store had been removing money from the cash register over the past several weeks. This case is pending complaints. Patrolman Kevin Ruditsky handled the report.
On Saturday, December 6, 2020, at approximately 2:33pm, Patrolman Jeremy Slad conducted a motor vehicle stop on Wilson Avenue for a motor vehicle violation. Further investigation, revealed that the driver, Christian Rivera, a 19-year-old male, single, employed as a laborer and resident of Newark, NJ was found to have several warrants that were issued for his arrest by the Newark Municipal Court Mr. Rivera was arrested and transported to Manalapan Township Police Headquarters where he was processed and turned over to the Newark Police Department. Patrolman Jeremy Slad was the arresting officer.
On Saturday, December 5, 2020, at approximately 4:51pm, patrols responded to a residence located on Amberly Drive in reference to a report of Criminal Mischief. The victim, a 45-year-old Manalapan resident advised that an unknown subject(s) placed glue inside the lock on the front door of her residence causing her to be unable to gain access. This case is currently under investigation. Patrolman John Lightbody handled the report.
On Saturday, December 5, 2020, at approximately 6:28pm, the victim, a 52-year-old Manalapan resident reported an incident of Terroristic Threats. The victim advised that an unknown individual sent her threatening text messages. Ptl. Jeremy Slad handled the report.
On Saturday, December 5, 2020, at approximately 12:29 pm, patrols responded to a department store located on State Highway 9 in reference to a report of Theft. Further investigation revealed that a representative from the store advised that a known employee removed various items from the store without paying. This case is pending complaints. Patrolman James Joiner handled the report.
On Saturday, December 5, 2020, at approximately 11:53am, patrols responded to a residence located on Joseph Street in reference to a report of Theft. The victim, a 59 year-old resident of Manalapan advised that an unknown actor(s) removed a handgun from his residence. The incident is currently under investigation. On Friday, December 4, 2020, at approximately 4:35pm, patrols responded to a business located on State Highway 9 in reference to a report of Burglary. A representative of the business advised that sometime during the overnight hours, an unknown actor(s) gained access to the business through an unlocked door. A subject described as a white female with longer hair and wearing dark pants and a dark shirt was observed on video surveillance footage walking around the business before leaving in a white SUV with an unknown registration. This case is currently under investigation. Patrolman Brian Schank handled the report.
On Friday, December 4, 2020, at approximately 9:45am, patrols responded to a residence located on Sandpiper Drive in reference to a report of Theft. The victim, a 32-year-old resident of Manalapan advised that an unknown actor(s) removed jewelry from inside her residence. This case is currently under investigation. Patrolman Bart Mattaliano handled the report.
On Wednesday, December 2, 2020 at approximately 5:25pm, the victim, a 30-year-old Manalapan resident responded to Manalapan Township Police Headquarters and reported an incident of Fraud. The victim advised that she had several fraudulent charges on her checking account from an online application. This case is currently under investigation. Patrolman Matthew Meyler handled the report.
On Thursday, December 3, 2020, at approximately 4:00pm, patrols responded to the Freehold Township Police Department and took custody of Jalil Rivera, a 31-year-old male, single, unemployed and resident of Freehold Boro, NJ. Mr. Rivera had two warrants that were issued for his arrest by the Manalapan Township Municipal Court in the amount of $1000.00. Mr. Rivera was processed and transported to the Monmouth County Correctional Institution in default of bail. Patrolman Sean McCarthy was the arresting officer.
