Indoor Slide Park To Open First NJ Location: See Where

MANALAPAN, NJ — Slick City Action Park, the world's first indoor dry-slide and air court park for all ages, is set to open its first New Jersey location in August.

Located on Woodward Road in Manalapan, the park will introduce a one-of-a-kind indoor attraction that combines dry slides, interactive play experiences and family-focused entertainment in one place.

As the first Slick City location in New Jersey, the new park aims to introduce a "completely new category of indoor entertainment to the region," officials said.

Owned by longtime New Jersey residents Andrew and Stacy Katz, Slick City Manalapan is designed to become a year-round destination where families, friends, schools, sports teams and community groups can gather for active fun and memorable experiences.

The new indoor park will feature 14 dry slides delivering the brand's signature sensation of speed and elevation, including Big Wave, Hyper Loop, Corkscrew, Tailspin, Avalanche, Riptide and the dual-lane Turbo Twin.

Beyond the slides, guests can also enjoy a sport court, dodgeball court, ziprail, soft play area and net course, creating an immersive indoor entertainment experience for guests of all ages.

Younger visitors will also have their own dedicated play experience with Littles Rush, a slide designed specifically for younger children.

"We wanted to bring something completely new and exciting to New Jersey," Andrew Katz said. "The moment we experienced Slick City, we knew families here would love it. It's an attraction that gets kids and adults off their phones, interacting together and making memories in a way you simply can't find anywhere else."

After spending decades in advertising and marketing, Andrew left the corporate world to pursue business ownership, while Stacy, a longtime educator, shared his vision of creating a destination centered around family fun and community connection.

"We're not just opening an entertainment venue, we're creating a place where families celebrate birthdays, teammates gather after games and neighbors come together," Stacy Katz said. "Our goal is to build the best family entertainment destination in the community and continue expanding throughout New Jersey."

Founded in 2021, Slick City is headquartered in St. Louis and Nashville and opened its first location in Denver, CO in early 2022.

Since then, the company has introduced the nation to a first-of-its-kind entertainment experience, with locations across the U.S.
