Local Student Performs in Play

Nicole Capobianco recently performed in "A Streetcar Named Desire" at Washington College.

Washington College is pleased to announce that Manalapan resident and Freehold High School alumnae Nicole Capobianco has recently performed in the Senior Directing Thesis production of “A Streetcar Named Desire” and fulfilled the roles of Steve Hubbell and Matron.

Capobianco is a senior at Washington College and is double majoring in English and theatre and minoring in gender studies. At Washington College, Capobianco is the Washington College Department of Theatre and Dance costume shop manager and supervisor. Capobianco also participates in many other plays and will appear in the Senior Directing Thesis production of “Boxes” later in the semester and will direct “The Effect of Gamma Rays on Man-in-the-Moon Marigolds” next semester.

About the experience, Capobianco said, “I’m thrilled to be spending my last year at WAC doing what I love most: theatre!”
