In the East Brunswick incident, which occurred Thursday, Jan. 24, two juveniles reported that at around noon while walking in the rain after being dropped off by their school bus near Modzelewski Avenue, an unidentified man in an older small blue car stopped and asked them, "Do you want me to take you home?"
The juveniles ignored the man, who then drove away. They described him as white, approximately 40 years old, heavy set, a smoker, with an orange/blonde beard, wearing a gray beanie type hat and a dark green jacket. Police responded but could not locate him.

A white van (described as possibly a “transport” style van, with some sort of blue lettering) pulled next to the children, they said. The passenger of the van, a white man with a black baseball cap and a “big” beard, rolled down the window and told the children to “get in," Monroe police said.
The children then ran and notified a woman that as in the area. The van then traveled down Tenth Avenue towards Monmouth Road. Anyone that may have seen this or any suspicious van in the area around this time, is asked to contact the Monroe Police Department at 732-521-0222 immediately.
