Man, 58, Killed In Manalapan Car Accident

The investigation is still ongoing, police say

MANALAPAN, NJ-- A man was struck and killed while crossing the street in Manalapan on Sunday night, Oct. 2, police say.

Marvin Hodgdon, 58, from Manalapan, was crossing Route 33 near Woodward Road, when he was struck by a Ford Five Hundred sedan according to police. Hodgdon was found dead at the scene just before 9:00 PM.

Route 33 westbound was closed for nearly three hours as a result of the crash. The driver, 54-year-old Peter Ramsdell from Plainsboro, was uninjured. No complains have been signed, and the investigation is ongoing.
