Man Dies In Fire At Rossmoor, Monroe Retirement Community

MONROE TOWNSHIP, NJ — A man died in a fire Monday at the Rossmoor adult retirement community, according to a report on MyCentralJersey.
The fire broke out Monday around midday and the older man was found deceased in his apartment by first responders when they got to the scene at 12:27 p.m., according to the report. The apartment where the fire started was Unit F at 354 Old Nassau Road.
The apartment had sustained extensive damage inside, but the fire appeared contained to that single unit. First responders found the man lying on the floor, and he was pronounced dead at the scene.
