Man Passes Out, Drives Into Home in Manalapan Saturday
Nobody was injured in the crash, but drugs and drug paraphernalia were found in the car, police said.

MANALAPAN, NJ - A man passed out in his car and drove through a garage door Saturday in Manalapan Township, police report. Nobody was injured in the crash, but drugs and drug paraphernalia were found in the car.
The accident happened at 4:16 p.m. Saturday at a home on Chestnut Way. When police got there, they discovered a 2015 Ford Focus had crashed through the garage door, where it struck a parked vehicle inside the garage. The driver of the Ford Focus, identified as Thomas Kevlin, 27, of Manalapan, was found unconscious inside the car. He had passed out due to a medical issue, police said.
Englishtown-Manalapan First Aid volunteers pulled Thomas from the vehicle; First Aid was administered and he regained consciousness. A passenger was also in the vehicle at the time of the crash, but fled the area on foot prior to the police response. He later returned to the scene and was identified as Richard V. Mannino, 26, of Manalapan.

After a police search, drugs and paraphernalia were located inside the car. Thomas and Richard were placed under arrest and charged with drug possession. Thomas was also issued motor vehicle summonses for possession of a controlled dangerous substance in a motor vehicle, reckless driving and careless driving.
At the time of the crash, a resident was inside the home, but was not injured. Other than the damage to the garage door, there were no other structural damages to the residence.
