MANALAPAN, NJ - Amid an onslaught of businesses across the country rolling back hours, temporarily closing or even shutting down permanently during the coronavirus pandemic, this business is expanding and even donating thousands of face masks and meals to essential workers.

Manalapan-based Merola Tile has made an array of contributions to community organizations since the pandemic began nearly ten months ago, including the donation of 950 masks to the Manalapan First Aid Squad, 500 Eat Clean Bro meals to healthcare workers at Riverview Hospital, 1,000 masks to local individuals in need, 700 dry packaged goods, 1100 canned goods, 100 bottles of condiments to families in need and 125 meals to Interfaith Neighbors. The company has also made monetary donations to the Alzheimer’s Association and participated in biweekly food donations to the Samaritan Center.

“Manalapan has been a wonderful home to our operation for 7 years. We are blessed to work in such a beautiful and historic part of our great country. We care about our community deeply and witnessed many of our neighbors and local businesses go through difficult times in 2020,” said Division President John Merola.
