In Manalapan, there were 20 violent crimes reported in 2013, down from 23 in 2012. The per capita violent crime rate was 0.5 percent in 2013, compared to 0.6 percent the previous year. There were 300 non-violent crimes reported in 2013, down from 353 the previous year. The per capita non-violent crime rate was 7.6 percent in 2013, compared with 9.0 percent in 2012.
