Manalapan Dance & Performing Arts School Celebrates 40th Anniversary

MANALAPAN, NJ — A local dance and performing arts school recently celebrated 40 years in business.

In September, the Board of County Commissioners (through the Open for Business in Monmouth Initiative) congratulated owner Joella Luliano on Rising Stars School of Dance and Performing Arts' 4oth anniversary.

The school offers a variety of classes ranging from acro to ballet, pointe, tap, musical theater and more.

“Our small businesses are such an important part of what makes our community special, and it’s always exciting to see one reach a milestone like this,” Commissioner Director Thomas Arnone said.

“For 40 years, Rising Stars School of Dance and Performing Arts has brought people together through a shared love of dance, inspiring generations of students along the way,” he continued. “Congratulations to Rising Stars on 40 years in business and best of luck in your future endeavors!”

Open for Business in Monmouth is an initiative designed to support, promote and celebrate businesses in all 53 Monmouth County municipalities.

Business owners and operators, municipalities and chambers of commerce are invited to request County participation in, or coordination of, ribbon-cutting ceremonies for new businesses, expansions, relocations, grand openings and milestone anniversaries.
