Manalapan: No Heroin, But Syringes, Burnt Spoon on Woman, Police Say

A woman was arrested last Friday in Manalapan after police said they found her with a slew of heroin paraphernalia.

MANALAPAN, NJ - A woman was arrested last Friday in Manalapan Township after police there said they found her with a slew of heroin paraphernalia, including eight hypodermic syringes.

Gwen Daly, 36, of Jobstown, NJ, was found in possession of eight hypodermic syringes, nine baggies stamped in red ink, four clear baggies with no stamp and a metal spoon with burnt residue as well as a metal cap, commonly used to prepare heroin, police said. While all the baggies and syringes were empty and did not contain heroin, she was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia.
