Manalapan Photo Contest 2011 Winners

The 2011 Manalapan Township Photo Contest officially ended at , the community-wide celebration that took place at the on Saturday, June 11. 

There were 23 entries of photographs depicting celebrations of life, family, and community. The entries were divided into the following age group categories for judging: 12 and under, 13-17, and adults. Winners were selected from each age group by a panel of judges.

The judges were made up of a compilation of Manalapan Township residents selected from various boards and committees. 

12 and under Winner: Ashley Fuchs, "The Norm"

13-17 Winner: Lindsay Pacheco, "Darkness of Light"

Adult Winner: Robert Orsetti, "In Celebration of Life"

A "People's Choice" winner was selected at "Manalapan Under the Stars". Event-goers viewed all entries and voted for which photograph they liked the best. 

People's Choice: Jeffrey Kessler, "Our Miracle"

Additionally, the judges selected honorable mentions.

Honorable Mentions: Pasquale Licciardi, "Our Baby's First Birthday" and Karen Modica, "A Special Moment in the Life of My Special Child"

All winners will be recognized at the Township Committee Meeting on July 13 in the courtroom of the . Each winner will be presented with a $100 savings bond. The winning photographs can be seen on display in the courtroom of the town hall throughout the month of July.
