Manalapan Planning Board To Hear Affordable Housing Proposal

The Manalapan Planning Board is slated to hear testimony for a proposed residential development on Wilson Avenue Dec. 10.

MANALAPAN, NJ - The Manalapan Planning Board is slated to hear testimony for a proposed residential development at the next meeting, set to be held virtually at 7:30 p.m. on Dec. 10.

According to a legal notice (per CentralJersey.com), the Pinebrook Crossing housing development is being proposed by K. Hovnanian of Manalapan V., LLC.

The application is for preliminary and final major subdivision and site plan approval to consolidate the existing lots, including subdividing the consolidated lots to build 175 townhouses and 75 affordable housing units.

The applicant will seek variance relief from the requirement of minimum building separation.

K. Hovnanian proposes to construct the Pinebrook Crossing residential development on Wilson Avenue and Sobechko Road in Manalapan, located within the township’s Affordable Housing Overlay zone.

The application for development, as well as supporting maps, documents and site plans, are available for public inspection during business hours at the Manalapan Planning and Zoning Department.
