At 9:23 p.m. patrols responded to a residence on Pease Road for a report of criminal mischief. Someone slashed the tires on the victim’s vehicle sometime during the overnight hours. The victim is a 17-year-old Manalapan girl. The case is under investigation by Officer Jeff Emslie.

At 8:26 p.m. a 65-year-old Manalapan man reported that his 26-year-old stepdaughter took his vehicle without his consent and was involved in a motor vehicle accident in Howell. The accident was minor, and no injuries were reported. Complaints are pending in Manalapan for taking the vehicle without the owners consent. Officer Brian Cruse handled the report.
At 1:46 p.m., a 50-year-old man, who owns of an auto repair center, reported that he had performed work on a vehicle and received three bad checks as payment in the amount of $825. The complainant signed complaints. Officer Kevin Ruditsky handled the report.
June 10
Around 11:40 a.m. patrols responded to Best Buy on Route 9 to investigate a shoplifting report. Jonathan Barjudinas, a 25-year-old Manalapan man, was charged with shoplifting items valued at $15.99. Barjudinas was processed and released pending a future court date with Manalapan Township Municipal Court. Officer John Lightbody handled the arrest.
June 9
A 68-year-old Manalapan man reported fraudulent charges to his credit card. The charges were in excess of $200 and were reportedly made at an unknown Macy’s location. Anyone whose has been the victim of similar fraudulent activity, or has any information about this incident is asked to contact township police. Officer Chris Oleksy is handling the investigation.
Around 7 p.m. a 41-year-old Manalapan woman arrived at headquarters to file a theft report. Someone removed items from the victim’s home between the morning of June 6 and the night of June 7. This case is pending further investigation. Officer Jared Coupland handled the report.
June 8
Around noon Officer Chris Oleksy was dispatched to Knob Hill Gold course for a theft report. The community management told him that sometime between June 3 and June 8, someone stole six meters and six back flow units from the irrigation system. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Manalapan Police department. Officer Chris Oleksy handled the initial investigation.
At 4:45p.m., Officer Anthony Cascella responded to the Pack And Ship store, 520 Route 9 for a report of a burglary that took place over the weekend. The 50-year-old Marlboro man, who owns the business, told police that someone gained access to the unlocked portion of the store and removed a 1963 Thunderbird Junior model car valued at $19,500. The store was left unlocked by an employee and the car was removed sometime between Saturday afternoon and Monday morning. The case is pending further investigation. Officer Anthony Cascella handled the report.
At 5:23 p.m., Officer Jared Coupland responded to Yorktowne Shopping Center for a report of a male harassing customers. Geoffrey T. Adams, 32, of Manalapan was arrested on a trespassing charge, processed and released. Adams was given a court date in Manalapan. Officer Jared Coupland handled the arrest.
Around 7 p.m., a 53-year-old Manalapan woman went to headquarters to report identity theft. According to the victim, she filed her taxes in April, then received a notice from the IRS that her claim number has already been used and she has been subjected to identity theft. She was given the proper steps to take regarding identity theft. The report was handled by Patrolman Matt Porricelli.
