Manalapan Police Blotter, April 22 - April 28
Someone knocked over a fire hydrant and stop sign on Lambs Lane near Sweetmans Lane on April 24; home security cameras recorded it.

MANALAPAN, NJ — Released by Manalapan police, all the arrests for that time period:
Fraud
On Tuesday, April 28 at approximately 4:45 p.m., two victims, a 38-year-old and 48-year-old, both Manalapan residents reported an incident of fraud. The victims advised that they paid a deposit of $250 each for two dogs that they agreed to purchase after locating them on the Internet. The seller never completed the transaction and the victims lost their deposits. This case is pending further investigation. Patrolman Aaron Abeles handled the report.
Fraud/Identity Theft
On Friday, April 24 at approximately 4:30 p.m., the victim, a 53-year-old business owner in Manalapan reported an incident of fraud. The victim advised that a fraudulent purchase was made on his business account in New York. Patrolman Sean McCarthy handled the report.

Driving While Intoxicated
On Friday, April 24 at approximately 12:31 a.m., patrols responded to the area of State Highway 9 south for a report of a motor vehicle collision. Further investigation revealed that the operator of the vehicle, Sean Lando, a 51-year-old male, single, employed as a sales representative and resident of Staten Island, New York, was found to be driving while intoxicated. Mr. Lando was transported to Manalapan Township police headquarters where he was processed and
released after being served with a summons. Patrolman James Guarino was the
arresting officer.
Hit-and-Run Motor Vehicle Crash

On Friday, April 24 at approximately 7:41 a.m., a Manalapan resident reported a hit-and-run motor vehicle crash. The resident advised that at approximately 5:20 a.m. he captured on his home security camera, a vehicle struck and knocked over a fire hydrant and stop sign on Lambs Lane near Sweetmans Lane and then left the scene. The vehicle in question is possibly a Ford Escape, unknown color, with passenger side damage. If anyone has information that could help this investigation, please contact the Manalapan Township Police Department at 732-446-4300. Patrolman Reginald Grant handled the report.
Theft of property
On Wednesday, April 22 at approximately 3:30 p.m., a 57-year-old Manalapan resident reported an incident of theft. The victim advised that the license plate to his vehicle that was parked on Shira Lane was removed sometime during the overnight hours. Patrolman Adam Sosnowski handled the report.
