Manalapan Police Blotter, April 9 - April 15
Police said they found a man with heroin in his car on Woodward Rd., and connected him to a power tool theft on Smithburg Road.

MANALAPAN, NJ — Released by Manalapan police, and unedited by Patch, all the arrests and incidents in town from April 9 - April 15:
Warrant Arrest
On Sunday, April 15 at 9:35 a.m., Vincent Vallese, a 41-year-old married male resident of Manalapan Township, who is a teacher, turned himself in at the Manalapan Township Police Department regarding a warrant that was issued for his arrest by the Manalapan Township Municipal Court in the amount of $164. Mr. Vallese was processed and released after posting bail. Patrolman Kevin Ruditsky handled the arrest.
DWI/Warrant Arrest
On Saturday, April 14 at approximately 5:52 p.m., Patrolman Jared Coupland responded to a three-car motor vehicle crash on Lone Star Lane. The driver of the vehicle that police say caused the crash, identified as Olga N. Baldi, a 57-year-old married white female Manalapan resident, employed as a business analyst, was placed under arrest on a charge of driving while intoxicated. Mrs. Baldi was also found to have an outstanding warrant out of Cranbury Township Municipal Court in the amount of $500. Mrs. Baldi was placed under arrest and transported to the Manalapan Police Department where she was processed and released to a responsible adult, after posting bail in full. Mrs. Baldi was issued numerous citations. Patrolman Jared Coupland handled the arrest.

Warrant Arrest
On Saturday, April 14 at approximately 4:30 p.m., Patrolman Jeffrey Mattson conducted a motor vehicle stop for a traffic violation on Union Hill Road, in the area of Apache Drive. The driver of the motor vehicle, identified as David Corum, a 39-year-old unmarried male resident of Morganville, New Jersey, who is employed as a carpenter, was found to have a warrant issued for his arrest by the Somerset County Superior Court in the amount of $9,274.73. Mr. Corum was placed under arrest and transported to the Manalapan Township Police Headquarters where he was processed and transferred over to the Somerset County Sheriffs Department. Patrolman Jeffrey Mattson handled the arrest.
Warrant Arrest
On Thursday, April 12 at approximately 9:42 p.m., Patrolman Christopher Makwinski conducted a motor vehicle stop for a traffic violation on Daum Road, in the area of Turnberry Drive. John Cesare, a 43-year-old married male resident of Manalapan Township, who is employed as a site manager, was found to have a warrant issued for his arrest by the Elizabeth Municipal Court in the amount of $110. Mr. Cesare was placed under arrest and transported to Manalapan Township Police, Headquarters where he was processed and released after posting bail. Patrolman Christopher Makwinski was the arresting officer.

Warrant Arrest
On Thursday, April 12 at 7:10 p.m., Joseph Miceli, a 75-year-old divorced male resident of Monroe Township, who is retired, turned himself in to the Manalapan Township Police Department regarding a warrant that was issued for his arrest by the Manalapan Township Municipal Court in the amount of $164. Miceli was processed and released after posting bail. Patrolman Jeffrey Mattson handled the arrest.
Theft
On Sunday, January 14 at 2:30 p.m., a 55-year-old resident of East Windsor reported several power tools and other miscellaneous property valued at $3,119 missing from his job site on Smithburg Road in Manalapan Township. The below traffic stop in the blotter led to criminal complaints being signed against Sean Persing, a 28-year-old unmarried, unemployed male resident of Parlin. Persing was charged with Burglary, Theft, and Receiving Stolen Property. Detective Charles Alaimo handled the investigation.
Warrant Arrest/Possession of Heroin/Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
On Thursday, April 12 at approximately 3:10 p.m., Patrolman Kyle Williams conducted a motor vehicle stop on Woodward Road, in the area of Valley Road. A passenger in the vehicle, identified as Sean Persing, 28, of Parlin, was found to have a warrant issued for his arrest by the Monmouth County Superior Court with no bail amount set. Upon further investigation, Mr. Persing was found to be in possession of heroin and drug paraphernalia, police said. He was placed under arrest and transported to Manalapan Township Police Headquarters for processing before being turned over to the Monmouth County Correctional Institution. Patrolman Kyle Williams was the arresting officer.
Fraud
On Tuesday, April 10 at approximately 12:00 p.m. a theft of a wallet occurred in Freehold Township. A 70-year-old Freehold Township resident reported that unknown actors utilized the victim’s credit card at the Best Buy store, located at 15 Route 9 in Manalapan Township and made a purchase in the amount of $1,258.16. Patrolman Christopher Makwinski took the report, which is pending further investigation.
Criminal Mischief
On Tuesday, April 10 at approximately 8:40 p.m., a 67-year-old Manalapan resident reported damage to the front screen door of a Tennent Road residence. It did not appear that anyone had gained entry to the residence. Patrolman Matthew Meyler took the report.
Warrant Arrest
On Tuesday, April 10 at approximately 9:15 a.m., Patrolman Bart Mattaliano conducted a motor vehicle stop on Rt. 33 east near the Freehold boarder. A passenger in the vehicle, identified as Marcus Boone, a 35-year-old, unmarried, unemployed, male, resident of Elizabeth, was found to have warrants issued for his arrest by the Irvington Municipal Court in the amount of $500 and Roxbury Municipal Court in the amount of $500. Mr. Boone was placed under arrest and transported to Manalapan Township Police Headquarters where he was processed and subsequently turned over to the Irvington Police Department in lieu of bail.

On Monday, April 9 at 3:45 p.m., Susan Hergenrother, a 64-year-old, married, female, resident of Manalapan Township, who is employed as a manager, turned herself at Manalapan Township Police Headquarters regarding a warrant that was issued for her arrest by the Union Township Municipal Court in the amount of $130.00. Hergenrother was processed, and released after posting bail. Patrolman Douglas Zike handled the arrest.
Warrant Arrest
On Monday, April 9 at 1:55 p.m., Louie Rosciglione, a 26-year-old, unmarried, male, resident of Manalapan Township, who is employed as a mover, turned himself in at Manalapan Township Police Headquarters regarding warrants that were issued for his arrest by the Ocean Township Municipal Court in the amount of $1,500 and the Monmouth County Superior Court in the amount of $13,692.86. Mr. Rosciglione was processed and turned over to Monmouth County Correctional Institution in lieu of bail. Patrolman Kyle Williams handled the arrest.
Burglary
On Monday, April 9 at 12:22 p.m., a 45-year-old Manalapan resident responded to Manalapan Township Police Headquarters and reported that an unknown actor entered their vehicle on Wednesday, April 4 and removed various items valued at $225. Patrolman Kyle Williams took the report, which is pending further investigation.
