Warrant Arrest
On Tuesday, September 3, 2019, at 12:59 p.m. a 59-year-old male, married, self employed and resident of Linden, NJ turned himself in at Manalapan Township Police Headquarters regarding a warrant that was issued for his arrest from the Manalapan Township Municipal Court in the amount of $1,000. He was processed and released after posting bail. Patrolman Anthony Cascella was the arresting officer.
Fraud
On Tuesday, September 3, 2019, at 12:17 p.m., patrols responded to a residence on Constitution Court in reference to the report of a fraud. The victim, a 34-year-old Manalapan, NJ resident advised that recently an unknown actor had fraudulently opened several department store credit cards using the victim’s personal information name, and completed transactions totaling $959.59. Patrolman Ross Dessel was the responding officer.

Warrant Arrest
On Tuesday, September 3, 2019, at approximately 10:44 a.m., patrols responded to a business located on Woodward Road in reference to the report of a subject trespassing. The subject a 68-year-old male, single, unemployed and resident of Manalapan, NJ was found to have a warrant that was issued for his arrest by the Manalapan Township Municipal Court in the amount of $750. He was arrested and transported to Manalapan Township Police Headquarters where he was processed and remanded to the Monmouth County Correctional Institution in default of bail. He was also issued a citation for defiant trespassing. Patrolman Joseph DeFilippis was the arresting officer.

Theft
On Sunday, September 1, 2019, at approximately 3:48 p.m., patrols responded to a residence on Arrowood Road in reference to the report of a theft. The victim, an 84-year-old Manalapan, NJ resident advised that sometime between August 31, 2019 and September 1, 2019 items went missing from the victim’s residence. The incident was handled by Patrolman Scott Rindsberg and is pending further investigation.
Theft
On Sunday, September 1, 2019, at approximately 8:18 a.m., patrols responded to a residence located on Lusitano Road in reference to the report of a burglary. The victim, a 78-year-old Manalapan, NJ resident advised that some time between August 23, 2019 and August 31, 2019, an unknown actor removed cash from the victim’s residence. The Manalapan Township Police Department Detective Bureau responded to the scene. There were no signs of forced entry to the residence. This incident was handled by Officer Jean Letts and is pending further investigation.
Warrant Arrest
On Sunday, September 1, 2019, at approximately 1:15 a.m., patrols responded to the Woodbridge Police Department and took custody of a 36-year-old female, single, unemployed and resident of Colts Neck, NJ. She had a warrant that was issued for her arrest by the Manalapan Township Municipal Court in the amount of $1,000. She was processed and transported to the Monmouth County Correctional Institution in default of bail. Patrolman Ryan Brady was the arresting officer.
Warrant Arrest
On Saturday, August 31, 2019, at approximately 7:13 p.m., Patrolman Rindsberg conducted a motor vehicle stop on Amberly Drive for a traffic violation. The driver, a 48-year-old male, single, employed as a construction worker and resident of Manalapan, NJ was found to have two warrants that were issued for his arrest. One warrant was issued by the Manalapan Township Municipal Court in the amount of $1,000 and the second warrant was issued by the Old Bridge Municipal Court in the amount of $389. He was arrested and transported to Manalapan Township Police Headquarters where he was processed and transported to Monmouth County Correctional Institution in default of bail. Patrolman Rindsberg was the arresting officer.
Fraud
On Friday, August 30, 2019, at approximately 4:00 p.m., the victim, a 65-year-old, Manalapan, NJ resident from Saupe Drive responded to Manalapan Township Police Headquarters and reported an incident of fraud. The victim advised that between June 16, 2019 and August 11, 2019 an unknown actor used the victim’s credit card and made thirty five fraudulent transactions in New Jersey and New York totaling $8,124.51. The incident was handled by Patrolman Aaron Abeles and is pending further investigation.
Fraud
On Thursday, August 29, 2019, at approximately 4:44 p.m., the victim, a 46-year-old Manalapan, NJ resident responded to Manalapan Township Police Headquarters and reported an incident of fraud. The victim advised that on August 28, 2019, an unknown actor utilized the victim’s personal banking information and made multiple unauthorized online transactions on her account. Patrolman Reginald Grant was the responding officer.
Assault
On Thursday, August 29, 2019, at approximately 2:54 p.m., patrols responded to a business on Park Avenue in reference to a report of an assault. The victim, a 30-year-old Farmingdale, NY resident and a 33-year-old Long Branch, NJ resident both reported that they were involved in a mutual physical altercation. Neither subject wanted to pursue the incident. Patrolman Joseph DeFilippis was the responding officer.
Defiant Trespass
On Thursday, August 29, 2019, at approximately 1:00 p.m., patrols responded to a business located on Woodward Road in reference to the report of a subject trespassing on the property. The subject, a 66-year-old male, single, unemployed and resident of Manalapan, NJ, was found to be trespassing. He was issued a summons for defiant trespassing and was escorted off of the property. Patrolman Joseph DeFilippis was the responding officer.
Possession of a Controlled Dangerous Substance, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
On Thursday, August 29, 2019, at approximately 11:51 a.m., Patrolman Bart Mattaliano conducted a motor vehicle stop on State Highway 33 for a motor vehicle violation. The driver, Reynaldo Vega, a 53-year-old Hispanic male, single, unemployed and resident of Bronx, NY, was found to be in possession of a controlled dangerous substance and drug paraphernalia. Mr. Vega was arrested and transported to Manalapan Township Police Headquarters where he was processed and released after being served with a summons. Patrolman Bart Mattaliano was the arresting officer.
Fraud
On Wednesday, August 28, 2019, at approximately 2:28 p.m., a 48 year-old Manalapan, NJ resident responded to Manalapan Township Police Headquarters and reported an incident of fraud. The victim advised that on August 19, 2019, an unknown actor utilized the victim’s personal banking information and made multiple unauthorized transactions totaling $2,730.96. Patrolman Peter Bylsma was the responding officer.
Assault
On Tuesday, August 27, 2019, at approximately 5:41 p.m., patrols responded to a residential facility located on State Highway 33 in reference to a report of assault. The victim, a 59-year-old Manalapan, NJ resident advised that on August 27, 2019, a known subject struck her in the head with a closed fist. Patrolman Scott Rindsberg was the responding officer.
Warrant Arrest
On Monday, August 26, 2019, at approximately 11:30 p.m., Patrolman Mantas Stanionis conducted a motor vehicle stop on State Highway 9 for a traffic violation. The driver of the vehicle, a 27-year-old female, single, employed as a sales manager and resident of Hillside, NJ was found to have a warrant that was issued for her arrest by the Elizabeth Court in the amount of $500. She was arrested and transported to Manalapan Township Police Headquarters where she was processed and released after posting bail. Patrolman Mantas Stanionis was the arresting officer.

On Monday, August 26, 2019, at approximately 12:29 p.m., a 54-year-old female, divorced, employed as a sales representative and resident of Bronx, NY turned herself in at Manalapan Township Police Headquarters regarding a warrant that was issued for her arrest by the Manalapan Township Municipal Court in the amount of $1,000. She was processed and released after posting bail. Officer Jean Letts was the arresting officer.
Criminal Mischief
On Sunday, August 25, 2019, at approximately 3:43 p.m., patrols responded to a business located on State Highway 33 in reference to a report of criminal mischief to a vehicle. The victim, a 28-year-old Jackson, NJ resident advised that between August 24, 2019 at 11:30 p.m. and August 25, 2019 at 3:00 p.m., an unknown actor damaged the victim’s vehicle while it was parked at the business. The actor damaged the vehicle by breaking both side view mirrors, damaging the vehicle’s antenna and puncturing a tire. Patrolman Scott Rindsberg was the responding officer.
Theft
On Saturday, August 24, 2019, at approximately 3:15 p.m., patrols responded to a business located on State Highway 9 in reference to a report of theft. The business owner advised that on August 18, 2019, at approximately 5:06 p.m., a former employee took items from the store without paying. The incident was handled by Patrolman Scott Rindsberg and is pending further investigation.
Fraud
On Friday, August 23, 2019, at approximately 3:50 p.m., patrols responded to a residence on Clayton’s Lane in reference to a report of fraud. The victim, a 47-year-old male from Manalapan, NJ advised that in early August, an unknown actor used the victim’s personal information to access a bank account and made fraudulent purchases in California totaling $3,633.90. Patrolman Sean McCarthy was the responding officer.
Simple Assault
On Friday, August 23, 2019, at approximately 10:32 a.m., patrols responded to a business located on Wilson Avenue in reference to the report of an assault. Further investigation revealed that a 23-year-old male, single, unemployed and resident of Manalapan, NJ had assaulted three subjects inside of the business. He was served with a summons for the assault. Patrolman Ryan Brady was the arresting officer.
Warrant Arrest
On Friday, August 23, 2019, at approximately 9:48 a.m., a 58-year-old male, single, self employed and resident of Brooklyn, NY, turned himself in at Manalapan Township Police Headquarters regarding a warrant that was issued for his arrest by the Manalapan Township Municipal Court in the amount of $1,500. He was processed and released after posting bail. Patrolman Kevin Ruditsky was the arresting officer.
Fraud
On Friday, August 23, 2019, at approximately 9:20 a.m., patrols responded to a business located on State Highway 9 in reference to the report of fraud. An employee of the business related that on August 23, 2019, an unknown actor attempted to change the payroll information for an employee of the business and collect a direct deposit paycheck. Patrolman Jeff Emslie was the responding and reporting officer.
Warrant Arrest
On Friday, August 23, 2019, at approximately 12:03 a.m., patrols responded to the Middlesex County Correctional Facility and took custody of a 23-year-old male, single, unemployed and resident of New Brunswick , NJ. He had a warrant that was issued for his arrest by the Manalapan Township Municipal Court in the amount of $1,139. He was processed and transported to the Monmouth County Correctional Institution in default of bail. Patrolman Jason Vigneault was the arresting officer.
Theft of Property
On Thursday, August 22, 2019, at 4:59 p.m., patrols responded to a business on Monmouth Road in reference to a report of theft. An employee of the business related that on August 22, 2019 at approximately 3:30 p.m., an unknown actor received $35.00 worth of gasoline without paying. Patrolman Doug Zike was the responding officer.
Credit Card Fraud
On Thursday, August 22, 2019, at approximately 3:16 p.m., the victim, a 48-year-old Manalapan, NJ resident from Whirlaway Road responded to Manalapan Township Police Headquarters and reported an incident of fraud. The victim advised that on April 4, 2018, they received notification from their credit card company that an unknown actor had made multiple fraudulent purchases in excess of $250.35. Patrolman Doug Zike was the responding officer.
Warrant Arrest
On Wednesday, August 21, 2019, at approximately 3:30 p.m., patrols responded to the Mercer County Correctional Facility and took custody of a 54-year-old male, single, self-employed, and resident of Robbinsville, NJ. He had a warrant that was issued for his arrest by the Manalapan Township Municipal Court in the amount of $1,500. He was processed and transported to the Monmouth County Correctional Institution in default of bail. Patrolman Ross Dessel was the arresting officer.
