Warrant Arrest
On Friday, December 22, 2017, at 11:37 a.m. Jonathan Ryan Gorenstein, a 23-year-old, unmarried, male, resident of Marlboro, who is employed as an office assistant, turned himself into the Manalapan Township Municipal Court for an outstanding warrant of $1,000.00. Manalapan Township Police later processed and released the arrestee after he posted the full bail amount and was given a court date on January 22, 2018 at the Manalapan Municipal Court. Patrolman Morgan Joiner handled the arrest.
DWI
On Thursday, December 21, 2017, at 12:20 a.m., Patrolman Matthew Mattia was on patrol when he observed two vehicles involved in a motor vehicle accident. Investigation revealed one driver, Josert J. Fonseca, a 29-year-old, single, Allentown resident, employed as a horse trainer, was found to be driving while intoxicated. He was arrested and issued summonses for DWI, Careless Driving, Failure to possess a valid registration, failure to possess a valid insurance card and failure to change his address. He was processed and released. This case is pending court.

Warrant Arrest
On Wednesday, December 20, 2017 at 6:40 p.m., Brian Murphy, a 36-year-old divorced male, resident of East Windsor, who is employed as a director of food management, turned himself in at Manalapan Township Police Department regarding a traffic warrant that was issued for his arrest by the Manalapan Township Municipal Court in the amount of $164.00. Mr. Murphy was processed and released after posting bail. Patrolman Adam Sosnowski handled the arrest.
Motor Vehicle Burglary/ Theft of Property
On Wednesday, December 20, 2017 at approximately 4:25 p.m., Manalapan police responded to a residence on Willow Grove Way for a report of a vehicle burglary. The victim a 47-year-old Manalapan resident reported both of his vehicles were burglarized during the overnight hours of 12/19/2017-12/20/2017. Unknown actors opened both of the victim’s vehicles and removed a wallet containing a driver’s license, debit cards, cigarettes, and $275.00 in cash. The victim lost a total amount of $445.00 in personal property. Patrolman Christopher Makwinski handled the incident.

Motor Vehicle Burglary / Theft of Property
On Wednesday, December 20, 2017 at approximately 10:05 a.m., patrols responded to a residence on Locust Grove Lane for a motor vehicle burglary and theft report. A 45-year-old resident of Manalapan reported her motor vehicle was burglarized sometime between December 19, 2017 at 2:30 pm and December 20, 2017 at 7:55 am by unknown actor(s). The vehicle was left unlocked with the key fobs inside. The actor(s) stole one key fob, $80.00 in cash, and one New Jersey driver’s license with a total value of $400.00. This incident was handled by Patrolman Joseph DeFilippis.
Motor Vehicle Accident
On Tuesday, December 19, 2017 at approximately 10:29 p.m., Manalapan Township Police Officer responded to the intersection of US Route 9 North and Taylors Mills Road for the report of a pedestrian struck by a motor vehicle. The driver, a 71-year-old Manalapan resident, struck a pedestrian, a 62-year-old Marlboro resident, who was attempting to cross Route 9. The pedestrian was transported to Jersey Shore University Medical Center in Neptune, NJ, and was later listed as being in stable condition. Patrolman Peter Bylsma handled the initial incident, which is pending further investigation.
Warrant Arrest
On Tuesday, December 19, 2017, at approximately 2:30 pm, Nicolas Santiago-Lopez, a 29-year-old, unmarried, male, resident of East Windsor, who is employed as a cook, was turned over by the New Jersey State Police at Manalapan Township Police Headquarters regarding a warrant that was issued for his arrest by the New Brunswick Municipal Court in the amount of $500.00. Mr. Santiago-Lopez was processed and released after posting bail. Patrolman Jeff Emslie handled the arrest.

On Tuesday, December 19, 2017 at approximately 12:25 am, Mandi Gierish, a 32-year-old, unmarried, unemployed, female, resident of Morganville, was turned over by the New Jersey State Police at Manalapan Township Police Headquarters regarding a warrant that was issued for her arrest by the Manalapan Township Municipal Court in the amount of $1,000.00. Ms. Ghaida was processed and released after posting bail. Patrolman Bart Mattaliano handled the arrest.

On Tuesday, December 19, 2017 at 11:54 am, Michael Ghaida, a 51-year-old, married, male, resident of Manalapan, who is self employed, turned himself in at Manalapan Township Police Headquarters regarding a warrant that was issued for his arrest by the Elmwood Park Municipal Court in the amount of $89.00. Mr. Ghaida was processed and released after posting bail. Patrolman Anthony Cascella handled the arrest.

On Tuesday, December 19, 2017, at approximately 9:15 am, Marc Shepard, a 33-year-old, unmarried, male, resident of Freehold Borough, who is employed as an engineer, turned himself in at Manalapan Township Police Headquarters regarding a warrant that was issued for his arrest by the Manalapan Township
Municipal Court in the amount of $164.00. Mr. Shepard was processed and released after posting bail. Patrolman Kyle Williams handled the arrest.
Warrant Arrest
On Tuesday, December 19, 2017, at 12:36 am, Patrolman Brian Cruse conducted a motor vehicle stop on Route 9 South in Manalapan. The driver, Russell Williams 3rd, a 58-year-old, married, male, resident of Jackson Township, who is employed as a business communications manager, was found to have warrants issued for his arrest by the New Milford Municipal Court in the amount of $642.00 and the Union City Municipal Court in the amounts of $160.00, $689.00, $172.00, and $48.00. Mr. Williams 3rd was placed under arrest and transported to Manalapan Township Police Headquarters where he was processed and released after posting bail. Patrolman Brian Cruse made the arrest.
