Stolen Motor Vehicle
At approximately 3:30 a.m. on Dec. 30, a 2019 BMW X5 that was parked on Wilfred Road in Manalapan was stolen. The suspects at the time are unknown, but were observed on surveillance video leaving the scene in an unknown silver sedan-type vehicle. Entry into this vehicle was gained through an unlocked door and the keys were left inside the vehicle. Ptl. Jean Letts handled the initial investigation.

Simple Assault
On Dec. 29 at 9:38 p.m., patrol officers responded to a Manalapan residence on Pension Road for a report of a disorderly person. The investigation revealed that there was a verbal argument that turned physical between a 50-year-old female and a 49-year-old female who were both residents of Manalapan Township. There were no injuries reported or complaints pursued by either party. Ptl. Brian Schank handled the investigation.

Warrant Arrest
On Saturday, December 29 at approximately 4:05 p.m., Joseph Postorino a 44-year-old, married, Manalapan resident, working as a salesman, turned himself in on a traffic warrant out of Manalapan Township in the amount of $1,000. Joseph was processed and released after posting bail. Ptl. Brian Schank handled the arrest.

Possession of Less than 50 Grams of Marijuana
On Saturday, December 29 at approximately 12:44 a.m., Patrolman Kyle Williams conducted a motor vehicle stop on Rt. 9 north for a traffic violation. The passenger of the vehicle, identified as Lesly Morency, a 31-year-old, unmarried, male resident of Jackson, NJ, who is employed as a delivery driver, was found to be in possession of less than 50 grams of marijuana. Mr. Morency was placed under arrest and transported to Manalapan Township Police Headquarters where he was processed and released after being issued summonses. Patrolman Kyle Williams was the arresting officer.

Driving While Intoxicated

On Thursday, December 27 at approximately 7:55 p.m., Aaron Paglia, a 47-year-old, married Bradley Beach resident, who is employed as a financial advisor, was arrested for driving while intoxicated. Mr. Paglia was charged with Driving while Intoxicated as well as other motor vehicle offenses. Mr. Paglia was later released on a summons, pending a future court date. Patrolman Peter Bylsma made the arrest.

Motor Vehicle Stop/Warrant Arrest

On Thursday, December 27 at approximately 7:40 a.m., Ptl. Matt Porricelli conducted a motor vehicle stop in the area of McCaffery Road. The registered owner of the vehicle, a 58-year-old, self-employed, married, male, Arthur Quackenbush, was found to have a traffic warrant for $500 out of Middletown, NJ. Arthur was arrested, processed and released upon posting bail. Ptl. Matt Porricelli handled the arrest.

Fraud
A 58-year-old Manalapan resident was a victim of credit card fraud when an unknown subject attempted to open several credit cards during the previous week, using his name and social security number. The victim was alerted to this activity by several credit agencies where credit applications had been filed. There was no monetary loss reported to the victim. Ptl. Bart Mattaliano handled the initial investigation.

Warrant Arrest
On Tuesday, December 25 at approximately 10:11 p.m., Patrolman Kyle Williams was investigating a family dispute at a residence located on Sweetman’s Lane. During this investigation, 26-year-old Tylor Monzillo, an unmarried, unemployed, male, resident of Manalapan, was found to have a traffic warrant that had been issued for his arrest by the Manalapan Township Municipal Court in the amount of $1,000. Monzillo was subsequently arrested and transported to the Monmouth County Correctional Institution after failing to post payment for his bail. Patrolman Kyle Williams was the arresting officer.
