Terroristic Threats
On Saturday, December 30, 2017, at approximately 5:18 pm, a 37-year-old Old Bridge resident responded to police headquarters in reference to a male individual that had harassed him. The individual has been identified as a 56-year old-Manalapan resident and the incident is pending private complaints. Patrolman Douglas Zike handled the report.
Harassment
On Friday, December 29, 2017, at approximately 6:40 pm, Patrolman Douglas Zike responded to the area of Apache Drive in reference to a report of harassment. The victim, a 21-year-old male Manalapan resident, reported that an individual had been harassing them in regards to a theft report that he had filed. The individual allegedly harassed the victim about the incident claiming that the theft never occurred. The individual has been identified as a 47-year old male Freehold resident, and this incident is pending private complaints. Patrolman Douglas Zike handled the report.

Theft
On Wednesday December 27, 2017 at 3:57 pm, a 46-year-old, male, resident of Manalapan Township filed a theft report. The victim reported that multiple cell phones that were ordered had been stolen after apparently being delivered to a Bell Terre residence. The victim related that there were 5 phones ordered all
valued at $800 each. Patrolman John Lightbody handled the report.
Warrant Arrest
On Wednesday, December 27, 2017, at approximately 11:22 am, Michael Cleary, a 56-year-old, unemployed, married, male, resident of Manalapan Township, turned himself in at Manalapan Township Police Headquarters regarding a warrant that was issued for his arrest by the Manalapan Township Municipal Court in the amount of $1,000.00. Mr. Cleary was processed and released after posting bail. Patrolman Jeffrey Mattson handled the arrest.

Theft
On Tuesday, December 26, 2017, at approximately 7:31 pm, a 60-year-old female resident of Mexico, who is visiting the U.S., reported that unknown actor removed $1,010.00 in U.S. currency from her purse while she was shopping at Marshall’s, located at 55 Route 9 South in Manalapan Township. Patrolman Edward Hedden took the report, which is pending further investigation.
Fraud
On Tuesday December 26, 2017 at 5:32 pm, a 77-year-old female, resident of Manalapan Township reported that she was scammed out of $400,000. The victim related that she was contacted via telephone since August from multiple subjects asking her to wire currency to them. The victim related that during the time period she sent multiple checks and wire transfers totaling $400,000 to the subjects. This case is currently under investigation. Patrolman John Lightbody handled the initial report.
