Warrant Arrest
On Sunday, December 10, 2017, at approximately 3:56 p.m., Frank Badal, a 38-year-old, married, Manalapan resident, employed as a business analyst, turned himself in at the Manalapan Township Police Headquarters in reference to a Manalapan Township warrant that was issued for his arrest in the amount of $164. Mr. Badal was arrested, processed, and released after posting bail. Patrolman Douglas Zike handled the arrest.
Property Theft
On Saturday, December 9, 2017, at approximately 5:26 p.m., Patrolman Zike responded to 55 U.S Highway 9 South in reference to a report of theft. The victim, a 57-year-old, Manalapan resident, reported that an unknown individual had stolen his fanny pack that contained miscellaneous items. This incident is pending further investigation. Patrolman Douglas Zike handled the report.

Credit Card Fraud / Identity Theft
On Friday, December 8, 2017, at 1:18 p.m., a 70-year-old Manalapan resident responded to Manalapan Township Police Headquarters and reported that unknown actor(s) attempted to open a credit card with Bank of America utilizing her personal information without her authorization. The actor(s) were unsuccessful and no monetary loss was sustained by the victim. Patrolman Joseph DeFilippis took the report.
Credit Card Fraud
On December 8, 2017 at 10:41 a.m., a 72-year-old Manalapan resident responded to this agency to advise that an unknown actor had attempted to make withdrawals from her credit card. The victim’s credit card had been used to make 6 separate charges totaling $1,800. The charges were made to Casino Star SAE which appears to be an online gambling site. The victim had contacted Macy's / Bloomingdales Fraud Investigations Department. The fraudulent charges were remediated. Ptl Seth Kreizman handled the incident.

Warrant Arrest
On Wednesday, December 6, 2017 at approximately 10:52 p.m., Patrolmen Edward Hedden and Patrolman Christopher Makwinski responded to Lasatta Avenue to assist an Englishtown Police Officer on a motor vehicle stop. The operator inside the vehicle, Todd Levine a 56-year-old, single, unemployed Manalapan resident, was found to have a traffic warrant out of the Manalapan Township Municipal Court in the amount of $228. Levine was arrested and transported to Manalapan Police Headquarters, where he was processed and subsequently transported to Monmouth County Correctional Institution after being unable to post bail. Ptl. Christopher Makwinski handled the arrest.
Simple Assault
On Wednesday, December 6, 2017, at approximately 5:52 pm, a 34-year-old Englishtown resident and a 63-year-old Manalapan resident reported that they were engaged in a physical altercation on Mt. Vernon Road in Manalapan Township. Neither party wished to pursue complaints at this time. Minor injuries were reported as a result of the altercation, however, medical attention was declined. Patrolman Christopher Makwinski handled the report.
Warrant Arrest
On Wednesday, December 6, 2017, at 1:00 pm, Katherine Dubuss, a 20-year-old, unmarried, unemployed, resident of Manalapan, NJ, turned herself in at Manalapan Township Police Headquarters regarding a warrant that was issued for her arrest by the Hightstown Municipal Court in the amount of $195.00. Ms. Dubuss was processed and released after posting bail. Patrolman Charles Mazzatto handled the arrest.

On Wednesday, December 6, 2017 at 2:02 pm, Ashley Romeo, a 22-year-old, unmarried, unemployed, resident of Manalapan, turned herself in at Manalapan Township Police Headquarters regarding a warrant that was issued for her arrest by the Manalapan Township Municipal Court in the amount of $1,000.00. Ms. Romeo was processed and released after posting bail. Patrolman Anthony Cascella handled the arrest.

On Wednesday, December 6, 2017, at 11:50 am, Kyle Walker, a 48-year-old, unmarried, unemployed, resident of East Windsor, was arrested at the Linden Police Department by Patrolman Bart Mattaliano regarding two warrants that were issued for his arrest by the Manalapan Township Municipal Court totaling of $2,000. Mr. Walker was transported to Monmouth County Correctional Institution in lieu of bail.

On Wednesday, December 6, 2017, at 2:00 am, Stephen R. Starozytnyk, a 24-year-old Jackson, unmarried, unemployed, resident of Jackson, NJ, was arrested at the Ocean County Jail by Patrolman Matthew Mattia and Patrolman Sean McCarthy regarding a warrant that was issued for his arrest by the Manalapan Township Municipal Court in the amount of $1,000.00. Mr. Starozytnyk was transported to Monmouth County Correctional Institution in lieu of bail.

On December 5, 2017 at approximately 9:20 a.m., Luis Hernandez-Monsalvo, a 31-year-old single painter residing in Hyattsville, Maryland, turned himself in at police headquarters in regards to a traffic warrant for $1000.00 issued out of the Manalapan Township Municipal Court. He was arrested, processed and released after posting bail. Ptl. Bryan Belardo handled the incident.
