MANALAPAN, NJ — Released by Manalapan police, all the arrests and incidents in the Township in the past week:
Warrant Arrest
On Friday February 23, 2018 at approximately 8:44 p.m., Ptl. Mattaliano conducted a motor vehicle stop on a white Chevy pick-up for a motor vehicle violation on US Highway 33. The driver, Nicole Arcate (38-year-old single female, Freehold Borough resident, self-employed), was found to have a traffic warrant for her arrest out of Old Bridge Municipal Court for $300.00. Ms. Arcate was arrested, processed then released after posting full bail. Ptl. Mattaliano handled the arrest.
Warrant Arrest
On Friday, February 23, 2018 at 3:58 p.m., Patrolman Jeffrey Mattson responded to a four-car motor vehicle accident that occurred on Tennent Road in Manalapan Township. The driver of an involved vehicle was identified as Arshay Foster, a 41-year-old, unmarried, male, resident of the Borough of Paulsboro, who is a
self-employed contractor. Arshay was found to have an active child support warrant issued for his arrest by the Salem County Superior Court in the amount of $14,328.92. He was placed under arrest and was transported to the Manalapan Township Police Department where he was processed and remanded to the Monmouth County Correctional Institution, in lieu of bail. Patrolman Jeffrey Mattson handled the arrest.

Warrant Arrest
On Thursday February 22, 2018 at approximately 11:25 p.m. hours, Ptl. Kyle Earley conducted a motor vehicle stop on a 2003 Nissan SUV on Taylors Mills Road. The driver, Christian Garcia-Celestino, 24-year-old, single, male, Old Bridge resident, employed as a food runner, was found to have a traffic warrant
for his arrest from Old Bridge for $528. Mr. Garcia-Celestino was arrested, processed then released after posting full bail.
Theft
On Thursday, February 22, 2018, at approximately 7:15 p.m., a 45-year-old Manalapan resident reported that an unknown actor(s) stole her purse from a Chestnut Way residence sometime between February 21, 2018 and February 22, 2018. The value of the purse and its contents are unknown at this time. Patrolman Edward Hedden took the report, which is pending further investigation.

Warrant Arrest
On Monday, February 19 2018, at approximately 6:20 p.m., Patrolman Christopher Makwinski conducted a motor vehicle stop for a traffic violation on Turnberry Drive, in the area of Woodward Road. Mark Rones, a 49-year-old, married, male resident of Manalapan Township, who is employed as a project manager, was found to have a warrant issued for his arrest from the Bedminster Municipal Court in the amount of $50. Mr. Rones was placed under arrest and transported to Manalapan Township Police Headquarters where he was processed and released after posting bail.
Burglary
On Monday, February 19, 2018, at 12:48 p.m., patrol units responded to an Alexandria Drive residence for a report of a burglary in progress. Kyle A. Scannell, a 26-year-old, unmarried, male, resident of Howell Township, who is employed as a gas station attendant, was found to be hiding in an upstairs bedroom. Mr. Scannell was subsequently placed under arrest and transported to Manalapan Township Police Headquarters where he was charged with Burglary and Theft. He was processed and released after being issued a criminal complaint summons. Patrolman Anthony Cascella made the arrest, with the assistance of Patrolman Seth Kreizman, Sergeant Robert Herring, and Sergeant Daniel Carey. (Note from Manalapan police: Scannell is a former friend of one of the residents who lives in the home. He allegedly had gone into the home without permission on more than one occasion, and was caught on a home surveillance system by the homeowner while they were at work. Police say he has removed cash and jewelry from the home in the past.)
Criminal Trespass / Theft
On Monday, February 19, 2018, at 9:02 a.m., an employee of Edesia Oil, located at 225 Freehold Road in Manalapan Township, reported that sometime between 5:00 p.m. on February 16, 2018 and 8:30 a.m. on February 19, 2018, unknown actor(s) trespassed onto the property and removed a headlight, headlight assembly, and a 100 foot extension cord, valued at $285.00. Anyone with any information regarding this incident is asked to please contact the Manalapan Township Police Department at 732-446-4300. Patrolman J. Morgan Joiner took the report.
