Warrant Arrest
On Monday, March 2 at approximately at 10:00 p.m., Patrolman Jeremy Slad conducted a motor vehicle stop on State Highway 33 for a motor vehicle violation. An occupant of the vehicle, Marguerite Marino, a single 36-year-old female, unemployed and resident of Barnegat, NJ, was found to have warrants that were issued for her arrest by the Beach Haven Municipal Court in the amount of $2,000, the South Hackensack Municipal Court in the amount of $1,500, the Ship Bottom Municipal Court in the amount of $750, the Long Beach Township Municipal Court in the amount of $750, the Fort Lee Municipal Court in the amount of $1,000, the Toms River Municipal Court in the amount of $500, the Brick Township Municipal Court in the amount of $495 and the Barnegat Township Municipal Court in the amount of $475. Ms. Marino was arrested and transported to Manalapan Township Police Headquarters where she was processed and then turned over to the Ocean County Sheriff’s Department in lieu of a no bail warrant from the Ocean County Sheriff’s Department. Patrolman Jeremy Slad was the arresting officer.
Criminal Mischief
On March 2 at approximately 12:27 p.m., patrols responded to a residence located on Turnberry Drive in reference to a report of Criminal Mischief. The victim, a 41-year-old Manalapan, NJ resident advised that an unknown actor(s) vandalized his vehicle that was parked in his driveway sometime during the early morning hours. The report was handled by Patrolman Christopher Oleksy.

Fraud
On March 2 at approximately 11:18 a.m., the victim, a 34-year-old Manalapan, NJ resident responded to Manalapan Township Police Headquarters and reported an incident of Fraud. The victim advised that he agreed to do advertising work for a juice company and wired money from his account. He subsequently learned that the company was fraudulent and that he was defrauded out of the money he wired from his account. Patrolman Anthony Cascella handled the report.

Theft/Unlawful Use or Possession of a Weapon
On February 29 at approximately 11:51 a.m., patrols responded to a business on State Highway 9 in reference to a report of Theft. Further investigation revealed that the suspect, Jose Caldera-Ramirez, a 31-year-old male, employed as a roofer and resident of Freehold, NJ attempted to remove several items from the business utilizing a small knife that was in his possession for the purpose of removing security sensors. Mr. Caldera-Ramirez was then arrested and transported to Manalapan Township Police Headquarters where he was processed and then transported to the Monmouth County Correctional Institution due to a previous violation of a court mandated order. Patrolman James Guarino was the arresting officer.
Fraud/Theft
On February 28 at approximately 4:02 p.m., a 53-year-old resident of Manalapan, NJ responded to Manalapan Township Police Headquarters and reported an incident of Fraud/Theft. The victim advised that an unknown actor(s) created a fraudulent check from his business which was cashed or deposited by an unknown actor(s). This incident is currently under investigation. Patrolman Joseph DeFilippis handled the report.
Identity Theft
On February 28 at approximately 12:28 p.m., a 50-year-old resident of Manalapan responded to Manalapan Township Police Department and reported an incident of identity theft. The victim advised that an unknown actor(s) utilized her personal information to open a credit card without her authorization and completed transactions at department store located in Long Island, NY. This incident is currently under investigation. Patrolman Joseph DeFilippis handled the report.
Harassment
On February 26 at approximately 10:37 a.m., patrols responded to a community center in Manalapan for report of harassment. The victim, a 76 year-old resident of Manalapan, received a letter from an unknown actor(s) that was derogatory in nature. The victim reported that several of her co-workers have also received the same letter from an unknown actor(s). The incident is currently under investigation. Patrolman James Guarino handled the report.
Harassment
On February 26 at 10:30 a.m., a 25-year-old resident of Manalapan responded to Manalapan Township Police Headquarters and reported an incident of Harassment. The victim advised that a known actor has been harassing her via social media, text messages, and phone calls. Patrolman Ross Dessel handled the report.
Theft
On February 26 at approximately 10:10 a.m., a 45-year-old resident of Freehold Township, NJ responded to Manalapan Township Police Headquarters and reported an incident of Theft. The victim advised that a former employee was found to be removing funds from his business account for several years without his consent. Patrolman Reginald Grant handled the report.
Fraud
On February 26 at approximately 9:00 a.m., patrols responded to a residence located on Lamb Lane in reference to a report of Fraud. The victim, a 59-year-old resident of Manalapan, NJ advised that an unknown actor(s) utilized her personal information to open a credit card account and to file a false tax return. This incident is currently under investigation. Patrolman Anthony Cascella handled the report.
