Manalapan Police Blotter, Jan. 1 - Jan. 7

An allegedly drunk woman drove into a snowbank on Union Hill Road Sunday night and a man's wallet was stolen at the Target, police said.

MANALAPAN, NJ — Released by Manalapan Township police, and unedited by Patch, here are all the arrests and incidents in town in the past week:

DWI, Possession of CDS, Possession of CDS Paraphernalia, Resisting Arrest, Obstructing the Administration of Law
On Sunday, January 7, 2018 at approximately 5:47 p.m., patrols responded to the area of Union Hill Road and Woodhollow Drive in reference to a possible intoxicated driver. Patrols located the accused vehicle in a snow bank. The driver, Rosy M. Rudenko, a 37 year-old, unmarried, New York resident, who is self-employed, was arrested for driving while intoxicated. While conducting a search incident to arrest, Rosy was found to be in possession of CDS and CDS paraphernalia. Rosy additionally resisted patrols attempts to arrest her, and was charged with obstructing the administration of law. Rosy was released after processing with a future court date. Patrolman Peter Bylsma handled the arrest.

Warrant Arrest
On Saturday January 6, 2018 at 11:14 p.m. Russell Williams 3rd, a 58-year-old married, male, Jackson resident who works as a visual communications manager, turned himself in to police headquarters on warrants out of Franklin Township in the amount of $750.00 and Mountainside in the amount of $400.00. Williams was processed and released after posting bail on the warrants. Patrolman Brian Cruse handled the arrest.

DWI – Motor Vehicle Crash
On Saturday, January 06, 2018 at approximately 3:45 p.m., patrols responded to the area of 418 Main Street in reference to a single-vehicle motor vehicle crash. The driver, later identified as Thomas M. Kevlin, a 28-year-old single male Manalapan resident, who works as a technician, was transported to CentraState
Hospital for evaluation. After being released from the hospital, he was transported back to headquarters where he was processed and released for driving while intoxicated. Ptl. Brian Schank handled the arrest.

Warrant Arrest
On Friday, January 5, 2018 at approximately 3:1 p.m., a 25-year-old single male sales associate, Brian Arnot of Manalapan, NJ turned himself in on a $139 traffic warrant out of Millstone Township Municipal Court. Mr. Arnot posted bail with the Municipal Court and was released. Ptl. Matt Porricelli handled the arrest.

Fraud
On Friday, January 5, 2018, at approximately 2:47 p.m., Patrolman Douglas Zike responded to the area of Annapolis Drive in reference to a report of fraud. The victim, a 36-year-old Manalapan resident, reported that unknown actor(s) had utilized her credit card information to purchase miscellaneous items in the amount of $798.61. This incident is pending further investigation. Patrolman Douglas Zike handled the report.

Theft of Property
On Wednesday, January 3, 2018, at approximately 11:56 am, a 43-year-old Carlstadt resident responded to Manalapan Township Police Headquarters and reported that former roommate refused to return his personal items, valued at $560. This incident is pending private complaints. Patrolman Joseph DeFilippis handled the report.

Theft of Property
On Monday, January 1, 2018, at approximately 7:50 p.m., a 30-year-old Jackson resident reported that his wallet was stolen from the Target store located at 55 Rt. 9 South in Manalapan. Security footage revealed that at 4:50 p.m., an unknown male subject stole the wallet and immediately left the store in an unknown direction of travel. The wallet ant its contacts were valued at $180. Patrolman Peter Bylsma handled the report, which is pending further investigation.

Warrant Arrest / Hindering Apprehension
On Monday, January 1, 2018, at approximately 2:30 p.m., Patrolman Kyle Williams conducted a motor vehicle stop on Kinney Road in Manalapan. Erik Budd, a 25-year-old, unmarried, male, resident of Florida, who is employed as a welder, was found to have a no bail warrant issued for his arrest by Gloucester
County Sheriffs Office. Mr. Budd was placed under arrest and transported to Manalapan Township Police Headquarters where he was processed. Mr. Budd was also charged with providing false information to a police officer on a criminal complaint summons and later turned over to Monmouth County Jail in reference to the outstanding warrant.
