Terroristic Threats
On Tuesday, January 21 at 2:26 p.m., patrols responded to a business located on State Highway 33, Manalapan in reference to a report of a subject that threatened employees. The victims, a 59-year-old Manalapan resident and a 67-year-old Manalapan resident, reported that a subject had made threatening comments towards them over the telephone. Both victims did not wish to pursue complaints at this time. Patrolman Joseph DeFilippis handled the report.

Theft
On Tuesday, January 21 at 6:39 p.m., patrols responded to a business on Smithburg Road, Manalapan in reference to a report of theft. Employees of the business observed the theft occurring and approached the subject inside of the business. The subject then left the store and entered into a vehicle described as a white sedan and left the area without further incident. This case is under investigation. Patrolman James Guarino handled the report.

Theft by Deception

On Tuesday, January 21 at approximately 4:03 p.m., the victim, an 82-year-old Manalapan resident responded to Manalapan Township Police Department Headquarters and reported an incident of Theft by Deception. The victim reported that she provided an unknown subject(s) with her credit card information during a phone call. The victim later determined that she was a victim of a scam. Sergeant Daniel Carey handled the report.

Theft by Deception

On Tuesday, January 21 at approximately 7:52 a.m., the victim, a 49-year-old Manalapan, NJ resident responded to Manalapan Township Police Department Headquarters and reported an incident of theft. The victim advised that in early November 2019 he paid a construction company based out of Sicklerville, NJ, for the installation of a garage door that was never installed. Patroman Morgan Joiner handled the report.

Warrant Arrest

On Monday, January 20 at approximately 12:15 p.m., a 29-year-old male, single, employed as a delivery driver and resident of Manalapan turned himself in at Manalapan Township Police Department Headquarters regarding a warrant that was issued for his arrest by the Manalapan Township Municipal Court in the amount of $1,000. He was arrested, processed, and released after posting bail. Patrolman Kyle Earley was the arresting officer.

Warrant Arrest
On Sunday, January 19 at approximately 7:39 p.m., Patrolman Guarino conducted a motor vehicle stop on State Highway 33 for a motor vehicle violation. The driver, a 32-year-old female, single, unemployed resident of Millstone, NJ, was found to have a warrant that was issued for her arrest by the Manalapan Township Municipal Court in the amount of $2000. She was arrested and transported to Manalapan Township Police Headquarters where she was processed and released after posting bail. Patrolman James Guarino was the arresting officer.

Burglary
On Sunday, January 19, at approximately 1:33 p.m., patrols responded to a residence on Taylor Lake Court in reference to a report of a Burglary. The victim, a 41-year-old, Fords, NJ resident, advised that between January 12 and January 19 an unknown actor(s) entered the residence and removed copper piping from the walls, causing extensive damage. This incident is pending further
investigation. Patrolman Peter Bylsma handled the report.

Attempted Burglary/Criminal Mischief
On Saturday, January 18 at approximately 2:50 p.m., patrols responded to a business located on Gordon’s Corner Road, Manalapan in reference to a report of an attempted burglary. The victim, the owner of the business, a 57-year-old, Manalapan resident advised that on January 15 at approximately 10:30 p.m. an unknown male subject was observed on surveillance video attempting to forcefully gain access through the back doors of two separate businesses. This case is pending further investigation. Patrolman Charles Alaimo handled the report.

Shoplifting
On Friday, January 17 at approximately 7:28 p.m., patrols responded to the parking lot of a department store located on State Highway 9, Manalapan in reference to an incident of Theft. Upon further investigation, it was determined that four subjects removed approximately $3,300 worth of merchandise from the store without payment. As a result, the following three subjects were placed under arrest and transported to Manalapan Township Police Department Headquarters where they were processed and transported to the Monmouth County Correctional Institution after being served with warrants. Latice Hollis, a 36-year-old female, single, employed as a hair stylist and resident of Somerset, NJ, Kieonna Beasley, a 29-year-old female, single, unemployed and resident of Plainfield, NJ and Shawn Johnson, a 29-year-old male, single, unemployed and resident of Plainfield, NJ. The fourth was a male juvenile subject who was arrested, processed and released into the custody of a family member Patrolman Matthew Porricelli was the arresting officer. All four were charged with shoplifting.

Possesion of under 50 grams of Marijuana /Possession of Drug Paraphernalia Arrest
On Friday, January 17 at approximately 4:59 p.m., Patrolman Matthew Porricelli conducted a motor vehicle stop on State Highway 9 for a motor vehicle violation. Upon further investigation, the driver, a 35-year-old, female, single, employed as a hairstylist and resident of Edison was found to be in possession of under 50 grams of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. She was arrested, processed and released after being served with a summons. Patrolman Matt Porricelli was the arresting officer.

Shoplifting
On Friday, January 17 at approximately 1:40 a.m., patrols responded to a business located on State Highway 9 in reference to a report of Shoplifting. Employees of the business observed a male subject removing items and then left without payment. The subject then left the area after leaving the merchandise in the parking lot in a vehicle described as a BMW bearing an unknown New Jersey registration. This case is under investigation. Patrolman Anthony Cascella handled the report.

Burglary/Theft

On Thursday, January 16 at approximately 8:33 a.m., patrols responded to a business located on Gordons Corner Road in reference to a report of Burglary. The victim, a 47-year-old Hazlet resident advised that sometime between 10:00 p.m. on January 15, 2020 and 7:57 a.m. on January 16, 2020, an unknown actor(s) forced entry into the business and removed money from a cash register. This incident is pending further investigation. Patrolman Kevin Ruditsky handled the report.

Theft
On Wednesday, January 15 at approximately 12:21 p.m., a representative from a department store located on State Highway 9, Manalapan responded to Manalapan Township Police Headquarters and reported an incident of theft. The representative advised that they have video surveillance footage of a known male subject committing two thefts on December 23, 2019 and January 14, 2020. The representative signed complaints against the subject at the Manalapan Township Municipal Court. Patrolman Jean Letts handled the report.

Warrant Arrest
On Wednesday, January 15 at approximately 9:26 p.m., Patrolman Guarino conducted a motor vehicle stop on State Highway 33 for a motor vehicle violation. The driver, a 54-year-old male, single, unemployed resident of Red Bank was found to have warrants that were issued for his arrest by the Middletown Township Municipal Court in the amount of $200. He was arrested and transported to Manalapan Township Police Headquarters where he was processed and released after posting bail. Patrolman James Guarino was the arresting officer.
