Property Theft
On Saturday, January 12, 2019, at approximately 5:51 p.m., Patrolman Douglas Zike responded to a business on U.S Highway 9 in reference to a report of theft. An employee of the business reported that three unknown Hispanic males had entered the store and attempted to steal $3,660.33 worth of merchandise. The employee further reported that the aforementioned individuals did not successfully leave with any merchandise and they left prior to police arrival. This incident is pending identification on any of the three suspects. Patrolman Douglas Zike is handling the investigation.
Hindering Apprehension
On Friday, January 11, 2019, at approximately 6:23 p.m., Patrolman Douglas Zike responded to the area of U.S Highway 9 South and Symmes Drive for a report of a disabled motor vehicle. The operator of the vehicle, identified as Wael Youssef, a 43-year-old, married, male, East Brunswick resident, who is employed as a salesman, was placed under arrest for providing false information to a law enforcement officer. Mr. Youssef was subsequently transported to Manalapan Township Police Headquarters where he was processed and issued multiple motor vehicle summonses. Mr. Youssef was then turned over to the Monmouth County Correctional Institution pending a hearing date. Patrolman Douglas Zike was the arresting officer.

Property Dispute
On Friday, January 11, 2019, at approximately 3:13 p.m., Patrolman Douglas Zike responded to 520 Route 9 in Manalapan in reference to a dispute between a 38-year-old Piscataway resident and renters regarding merchandise. No complaints were signed as a result of this incident. Patrolman Douglas Zike was the responding officer.
Theft
On Friday, January 11, 2019, at 1:00 p.m., a 62-year-old Manalapan resident responded to Manalapan Township Police Headquarters to report that $5,800 had been fraudulently withdrawn from a checking account during the course of 2018. Patrolman Reginald Grant took the report, which is pending further investigation.

Warrant Arrest
On Thursday, January 10, 2019, at approximately 11:25 p.m., Daquan T. Paige, a 30-year-old, unmarried, unemployed, male, resident of Newark, NJ, was arrested by the Newark Police Department regarding a warrant that was issued for his arrest by the Manalapan Township Municipal Court in the amount of $1,000. Mr. Paige was processed and transported to Monmouth County Correctional Institution in lieu of bail. Patrolman Peter Bylsma was the arresting officer.
Trespassing
On Thursday, January 10, 2019, at approximately 6:13 p.m., a 58-year-old resident of Freehold Township reported that a 49-year-old resident of Piscataway was trespassing on a Franklin Lane property in Manalapan. No items were reported missing as a result of this incident, which is pending the signing of complaints in Manalapan Township Municipal Court. Patrolman Christopher Makwinski was the responding officer.
Theft
On Thursday, January 10, 2019, at 11:52 a.m., a 49-year-old Manalapan resident responded to Manalapan Township Police Headquarters to report that sometime during the course of the past three weeks an unknown actor had removed the inspection sticker from a vehicle while it was parked on St. Andrew’s place in Manalapan. Patrolman Bart Mattaliano was the responding officer.
Burglary to a Motor Vehicle
On Thursday, January 10, 2019, at 9:35 a.m., a 58-year-old Manalapan resident reported that unknown actors entered an unlocked vehicle parked in the driveway of a Kimberly Court residence during the overnight hours and removed property. The value of the property is unknown at this time. Patrolman Jeannie Letts took the report, which is pending further investigation.
Possession of Less Than 50 Grams of Marijuana and Drug Paraphernalia
On Wednesday, January 9, 2019, at approximately 9:47 p.m., Patrolman Philip Accatatta conducted a motor vehicle stop in the parking lot of the Knob Hill Country Lanes, located at 363 Rt. 33 in Manalapan, after observing a motor vehicle violation. The operator of the vehicle, identified as Joseph P. Bellotti, a 20-year-old, unmarried, male, resident of Millstone, who is employed as an HVAC technician, was found to be in possession of less than 50 grams of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. Mr. Bellotti was placed under arrest and transported to Manalapan Township Police Headquarters where he was processed and released after being issued summonses. Patrolman Phillip Accatatta was the arresting officer.
Fraud
On Wednesday, January 9, 2019, at 4:16 p.m., a 35-year-old Manalapan resident responded to Manalapan Township Police Headquarters to report that an unknown actor had obtained the victim’s personal information and fraudulently obtained an iPhone. No monetary loss was reported by the victim as a result of this incident. Patrolman Adam Sosnowski was the responding officer.
Warrant Arrest
On Wednesday, January 9, 2019, at 9:38 a.m., Shaquilla Rudolph, a 32-year-old, unmarried, female, resident of Neptune, who is employed as a nurse’s assistant, was arrested by the New Jersey State Police regarding a warrant that was issued for her arrest by the Manalapan Township Municipal Court in the amount of $1,000. Ms. Rudolph was turned over to the Manalapan Township Police and transported to Manalapan Township Police Headquarters where she was processed and released after posting bail. Patrolman Seth Kreizman was the arresting officer.
Theft
On Tuesday, January 8, 2019, at 5:30 p.m., a 35-year-old Sayreville resident responded to Manalapan Township Police Headquarters to report that an unknown actor had removed $100 in cash from a pocketbook while at the Target store, located at 55 Rt. 9 in Manalapan. Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to please contact the Manalapan Township Police Department at 732-446-4300. Patrolman Charles Mazzatto was the responding officer.
Warrant Arrest
On Tuesday, January 8, 2019, at approximately 12:22 a.m., Patrolman Kyle Earley conducted a motor vehicle stop on Rt. 9 in Manalapan for a traffic violation. The operator of the vehicle, identified as Kunwar Singhbaba, a 35-year-old, unmarried, male, resident of Dunellen, who is employed as a marketing director, was found to have a warrant issued for his arrest by the Middletown Township Municipal Court in the amount of $250. Mr. Kunwar was placed under arrest and transported to Manalapan Township Police Headquarters where he was processed and released after posting bail. Patrolman Kyle Earley was the arresting officer.
Theft
On Monday, January 7, 2019, at 3:30 p.m., a 35-year-old Millstone resident reported that two license plates were stolen from a business located on Park Ave. in Manalapan. The license plates, valued at $180, were stolen between 2015 and November of 2018. No suspects have been identified regarding this incident. Patrolman Sean McCarthy was the responding officer.
Warrant Arrest
On Monday, January 07, 2019, at approximately 2:00 p.m., Steven Donoghue, a 31-year-old, unmarried, male, resident of Howell, who is employed as a salesman, was arrested by the New Jersey State Police regarding a warrant that was issued for his arrest by the Manalapan Township Municipal Court in the amount of $1,000. Mr. Donoghue was turned over to the Manalapan
Township Police Department where he was processed and then transported to the Monmouth County Correctional Institution in lieu of bail. Patrolman Douglas Zike was the arresting officer.
Warrant Arrest
On Wednesday, January 9, 2019, at 11:45 a.m., Christine Neri, a 53-year-old, unmarried, unemployed, female, resident of Raleigh, NC, turned herself in at Manalapan Township Police Headquarters regarding a warrant that was issued for her arrest by the Manalapan Township Municipal Court in the amount of $1,500. Ms. Neri was processed and released after posting bail. Patrolman Jeannie Letts was the arresting officer.
Fraud
On Sunday, January 13, 2019, at 12:59 p.m., a 26 year-old Manalapan resident responded to Manalapan Township Police Headquarters to report that an unknown actor had obtained the victim’s personal information and attempted to fraudulently apply for a Visa credit Card. The application was denied and no monetary loss was reported by the victim as a result of this incident. Patrolman Kevin Ruditsky was the responding officer.
