Fraud
On Tuesday, January 14, 2020 at approximately 2:51pm, the victim, a 55 year-old Manalapan, NJ resident responded to Manalapan Township Police Department Headquarters and reported an incident of Fraud. The victim advised that on January 3, 2020 an unknown actor(s) opened a cellular phone account in the victim’s name, without permission, and purchased an electronic device valued at $1,299.99. This incident is pending further investigation. Patrolman Peter Bylsma handled the report.

Possession of Controlled Dangerous Substance/Intent to Distribute/Possession of Drug Paraphernalia Arrest
On Tuesday, January 14, 2020 at approximately 12:49am, Patrolman Kyle Williams conducted a motor vehicle stop on State Highway 9 for a motor vehicle violation. The passenger, Kevin Davis Jr., a 33-year-old male, single, unemployed and resident of Toms River, NJ was found to be in possession of suspected heroin with intent to distribute, less than 50 grams of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. Mr. Davis Jr. was arrested and transported to Manalapan Township Police Headquarters where he was processed and then transported to Monmouth County Correctional Institution awaiting court. Patrolman Kyle Williams made the arrest.

Warrant Arrest
On Monday, January 13, 2020 at approximately 3:06pm, a 33-year-old male, single, employed as a barber and resident of Howell, NJ, turned himself in at the Manalapan Township Police Depatment regarding a warrant that was issued for his arrest by the Manalapan Township Municipal Court in the amount of $1500. He was processed and released after posting bail. Patrolman Joseph DeFilippis was the arresting officer.
Fraud
On Monday, January 13, 2020 at approximately 12:30pm, the victim, a 73-year-old, Manalapan, NJ resident responded to Manalapan Township Police Headquarters in reference to a report of Fraud. The victim advised that in December of 2019 and January of 2020, an unknown actor(s) made several fraudulent transactions on her credit card. Patrolman Joseph DeFilippis handled the report.
Theft
On Monday, January 13, 2020 at approximately 11:20am, the victim, a 48-year-old Millstone, NJ resident responded to Manalapan Township Police Headquarters in reference to a report of Theft. The victim advised that her wallet containing various credit cards and cash was stolen from a business located on State Highway 9. Patrolman Peter Bylsma handled the report.
Warrant Arrest
On Monday, January 13, 2020 at approximately 11:08am, Patrolman Bart Mattaliano conducted a motor vehicle stop on State Highway 33 for a motor vehicle violation. The driver, a 40-year-old male, single, unemployed resident of Erie, PA, was found to have warrants that were issued for his arrest by the Howell Municipal Court and Mount Olive Municipal Court in the amount of $1000.00. He was arrested and transported to Manalapan Township Police Headquarters where he was processed and released after posting bail. Patrolman Bart Mattaliano was the arresting officer.
Warrant Arrest
On Monday, January 13, 2010, at approximately 10:00am, a 19-year-old female, single, employed as a baker and resident of Howell, NJ, turned herself in at Manalapan Township Police Headquarters regarding warrants that were issued for her arrest by Manalapan Township Municipal Court and Freehold Township Municipal totaling $3,000.00. She was arrested, processed and released after posting bail. Patrolman Kyle Earley handled the arrest.
Warrant Arrest
On Monday, January 13, 2020 at approximately 9:21am, Patrolman James Joiner conducted a motor vehicle stop on Pension Road for a motor vehicle violation. The driver, a 32-year-old male, single, employed as a laborer/installer and resident of Perth Amboy, NJ, was found to have a warrant that was issued for his arrest by the West Long Branch Municipal Court in the amount of $250.00. He was arrested and transported to Manalapan Township Police Headquarters where he was processed and released after posting bail. Patrolman James Joiner was the arresting officer.

On Monday, January 13, 2020, at approximately 11:28pm, patrols responded to a residence on Cross Slope Court in reference to a report of a Dispute. While on scene, a 47-year-old male, single, employed as a store clerk and resident of Manalapan, NJ, was placed under arrest for a warrant that was issued for his arrest by the Marlboro Township Municipal Court. He was transported to Manalapan Township Police Headquarters where he was processed and released on his own recognizance. Patrolman Douglas Zike was the arresting officer.
Warrant Arrest
On Sunday, January 12, 2020 at approximately 12:21pm, Patrolman Bart Mattaliano conducted a motor vehicle stop on State Highway 33 for a motor vehicle violation. The driver, a 50-year-old female, single, employed as a hospital tech and resident of Howell, NJ, was found to have warrants issued for her arrest by the Lawrence Township Municipal Court in the amount of $358.00 and the Jackson Township Municipal Court in the amount of $150.00. The passenger, a 29-year-old female, single, unemployed and resident of Millstone Township, NJ, was found to have a warrant that was issued for her arrest by the Freehold Township Municipal Court in the amount of $1000.00. They were arrested and transported to Manalapan Township Police Headquarters where they were processed. was released after posting bail and the other transported to the Monmouth County Correctional Institution in default of bail. Patrolman Bart Mattaliano was the arresting officer.
Warrant Arrest
On Saturday, January 11, 2020 at approximately 7:19pm, patrols took custody of a 34-year-old male, single, employed as a sales associate and resident of Toms River, NJ, from the Seaside Park Police. He was found to have a warrant issued for his arrest by the Manalapan Township Municipal Court in the amount of $1000.00. He was processed and transported to the Monmouth County Correctional Institute in default of bail. Patrolman Christopher Makwinski handled the arrest.
Possession of Under 50 grams of Marijuana/Drug Paraphernalia Arrest
On Saturday, January 11, 2020 at approximately 4:42pm, Patrolman Matt Porricelli conducted a motor vehicle stop on County Route 522. The driver, a 24-year-old male, single, employed as an engineer and resident of Manalapan, NJ, was found to be in possession of less than 50 grams of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. He was arrested and transported to Manalapan Township Police Headquarters where he was processed and released after being served with a summons. Patrolman Matt Porricelli handled the arrest.
Warrant Arrest
On Saturday, January 11, 2020 at approximately 9:40am, Patrolman Bart Mattaliano conducted a motor vehicle stop on State Highway 33 for a motor vehicle violation. The passenger, a 30-year-old male, single, employed as a laborer and resident of Keansburg, NJ, was found to have a warrant that was issued for his arrest by the Rochelle Park Municipal Court in the amount of $1000. He was arrested and transported to Manalapan Township Police Headquarters where he was processed and released after posting bail. Patrolman Bart Mattaliano was the arresting officer.
Theft
On Friday, January 10, 2020 at approximately 12:44am, the victim, a 45-year-old Lincroft NJ resident responded to Manalapan Township Police Headquarters and reported an incident of Theft. The victim advised that a known subject unlawfully removed money from her business bank account. Patrolman James Guarino handled the incident.
Harassment
On Thursday, January 9, 2020 at approximately 9:15pm, the victim, a 60-year-old Manalapan, NJ resident responded to Manalapan Police Headquarters reported an incident of Harassment. The victim advised he offended a follower on a social media page and was then contacted via text message. Patrolman Adam Sosnowski handled the report.
Theft
On Thursday, January 9, 2020, at approximately 1:50pm, patrols responded to a business located on State Highway 9 in reference to a report of Theft. A representative of the business advised that an unknown white male removed two guitars from the store then ran out and left the shopping plaza operating a vehicle north on State Highway 9. This case is pending investigation. Patrolman Joseph Defilippis handled the report.
Driving While Intoxicated
On Thursday, January 9, 2020, at approximately 4:53am, patrols responded to the area of Parsonage Way in Manalapan, NJ in reference to the report of a parking complaint. Further investigation revealed that the driver of the vehicle, a 27-year-old male, unmarried, mechanic and resident of New York, NY, was found to be operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated. He was arrested and transported to Manalapan Township Police Headquarters where he was processed and released after being served with summonses. Patrolman Kyle Williams was the arresting officer.
Warrant Arrest
On Thursday, January 9, 2020, at approximately 3:27am, patrols responded to the Monroe Township Police Department and took custody of a 36-year-old male, single, unemployed and resident of Trenton, NJ. He had a warrant that was issued for his arrest by the Manalapan Township Municipal Court in the amount of $1000.00. He was processed and transported to the Monmouth County Correctional Institution in default of bail. Patrolman James Guarino handled the arrest.
Possession of Less than 50 grams of Marijuana
On Wednesday, January 8, 2020, at approximately 11:44 pm, Patrolman Kyle Williams conducted a motor vehicle stop on State Highway 33 for a motor vehicle violation. Further investigation revealed that the driver, a 19-year-old male, single, student and resident of Colts Neck, NJ, was found to be in possession of less than 50 grams of marijuana. He was arrested and transported to Manalapan Township Police Headquarters where he was processed and released after being served with a summons. Patrolman Kyle Williams was the arresting officer.
Warrant Arrest
On Wednesday January 8, 2020 at approximately 7:00pm, a 43-year-old female, married, unemployed and resident of Manalapan Township, NJ, turned herself in at Manalapan Township Police Headquarters regarding a warrant that was issued for her arrest by the Manalapan Township Municipal Court in the amount of $1000. She was processed and released after posting bail. Patrolman Aaron Abeles handled the arrest.
Theft
On Wednesday, January 8, 2020, at approximately 2:04pm, the victim, a 68-year-old, Manalapan NJ resident responded to Manalapan Township Police Headquarters and reported an incident of Theft. The victim advised that cash and gift cards were removed from his home. This case is currently under investigation. Patrolman Christopher Oleksy handled the report.
Simple Assault
On Wednesday, January 8, 2020, at approximately 4:41am, patrols responded to the area of Shephard Way in reference to a report of an Assault. The two subjects involved were a 32-year-old male, resident of Freehold Borough, NJ and a 56-year-old male and resident of Manalapan, NJ. No injuries were reported. Patrolman James Guarino handled the report.
Burglary to a Motor Vehicle
On Wednesday, January 8, 2020, at approximately 2:49am, patrols responded to a residence located on Ogden Lane in reference to a report of a motor vehicle Burglary. The victim, a 52-year-old Manalapan, NJ resident advised that on January 8, 2020, at approximately 2:42am, an unknown actor was observed on a floodlight camera entering the victim’s unlocked parked vehicle in the driveway and attempted to start it. The actor was unsuccessful and fled the area in an awaiting vehicle nearby. This case in currently under investigation. Patrolman Ryan Brady handled the report.
Simple Assault
On Wednesday, January 8, 2020 at 12:02pm, patrols responded to Park Avenue, Manalapan, NJ in reference to a report of an Assault. The victim, a 58-year-old female reported being struck in the face by the suspect. The suspect, a 38-year-old female and resident of Spotswood, NJ had struck the victim in the face during a verbal altercation. A minor injury was reported as a result of the incident. Patrolman Christopher Oleksy handled the report.
