MANALAPAN, NJ — Released by Manalapan police and unedited by Patch, all arrests made between July 29 and Aug. 4:

On Tuesday, August 4, 2020, at approximately 4:07pm, Police responded to the area of Meadow Green Circle for a neighbor harassment incident. The reporting party a 61 year old Manalapan resident reported ongoing issues between known parties. This case is pending complaints. Patrolman Slad handled the report.

On Monday, August 3, 2020, at approximately 10:20pm, the victim, a 34-year-old Manalapan resident reported an incident of Harassment/Terroristic Threats. The victim advised that she is being harassed by known subjects from. This incident is pending further investigation. Patrolman Peter Bylsma handled the report.

On Sunday, August 2, 2020, at approximately 7:59pm, Patrolman Jeremy Slad conducted a motor vehicle stop for a motor vehicle violation on State Highway 9. Further investigation revealed that the driver, Raymond Pickett, a 35-year-old single male, employed as a manager of an appliance store and resident of Monroe, NJ was found to have a warrant for his arrest issued by the Englishtown Municipal Court in the amount of $1,000.00. Mr. Pickett was arrested and
transported to Manalapan Police Headquarters where he was processed and released. Patrolman Jeremy Slad was the arresting officer.

On Sunday, August 2, 2020, at approximately 1:15pm, Patrolman Kyle Williams conducted a motor vehicle stop on State Highway 9 for a motor vehicle violation. Further investigation revealed that a passenger, Evan Goodridge, a 23-year-old single male, employed as a warehouse worker and resident of Rahway, NJ was found to be in possession of suspected controlled dangerous substance Xanax with intent to distribute, possession of suspected controlled dangerous substance Marijuana less than 50 grams and drug paraphernalia. Mr. Goodridge was also found to have an active warrant issued for his arrest by Hunterdon County Superior Court. Mr. Goodridge was arrested and transported to Manalapan Township Police Headquarters where he was processed and then transported to Monmouth County Correctional Institution. Patrolman Kyle Williams made the arrest.

On Friday, July 31, 2020, at approximately 12:52pm, a representative from a business located Manalapan reported an incident of Fraud. The representative of the business advised that he was issued several bad checks for services rendered. This case is pending complaints. Patrolman James Joiner handled the report.

On Thursday, July 31, 2020, at approximately 4:00pm, a 48-year-old Manalapan resident reported an incident of Fraud/Identity Theft. The victim advised that an unknown actor somehow obtained his social security number and was receiving unemployment benefits from the State of Pennsylvania. The reporting party related that they had not filed any claim with the State of Pennsylvania. This case is pending further investigation. Patrolman Christopher Makwinski handled the report.

These charges are merely accusations and the defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
