Theft
On Saturday, August 4 at 2:49 p.m., Patrolman Joseph DeFilippis responded to a business on Rt. 9 for a theft report. A 60-year-old resident of Freehold Township reported that unknown actor(s) removed her pocketbook containing various personal belongings valued at $375 from the backroom of the store sometime between 1:10 p.m. and 2:30 p.m. Patrolman Joseph DeFilippis took the report, which is pending further investigation.

Possession of Less than 50 Grams of Marijuana
On Thursday, August 2 at 9:36 p.m., Patrolman John Lightbody conducted a motor vehicle stop on Freehold Road after observing a motor vehicle violation. The driver, identified as Tien Little, a 28-year-old, unmarried, self-employed, resident of Long Branch, was found to be in possession of marijuana vape cartridges. Mr. Little was placed under arrest and transported to Manalapan Township Police Headquarters where he was processed and released after being issued summonses. Patrolman John Lightbody was the arresting officer.

Burglary to a Motor Vehicle
On Thursday, August 2 at approximately 5:23 p.m., a 63-year-old Monroe Township resident responded to Manalapan Township Police Headquarters to report that at approximately 11:30 a.m., unknown actor(s) entered the victim’s unlocked vehicle and removed the victim’s wallet, containing several credit cards
and personal items valued at approximately $10.00, while it was parked at a Woodward Road business. Patrolman Peter Bylsma took the report, which is pending further investigation.

Theft
On Thursday, August 2 at approximately 5:08 p.m., a 57-year-old Manalapan Township resident responded to Manalapan Township police headquarters and reported that an unknown actor or actors stole a snow plow valued at approximately $5,500. The plow was removed from a Wilson Avenue business between 11:30 a.m. on July 28, 2018 and 3:30 p.m. on July 29, 2018. Patrolman Jeffrey Mattson took the report, which is pending further investigation.

Burglary/Criminal Mischief
On Wednesday, August 1 at approximately 11:15 a.m., a 60-year-old Monroe Township resident reported that a white male, approximately 20-30 years of age, with curly hair and a beard, wearing an orange shirt and dark pants, forcibly entered an unoccupied Iron Ore Road residence in an attempt to remove copper piping. The subject fled the scene on foot after being confronted by employees hired to work at the residence. No items were reported to have been removed from the residence. Patrolman Jeffrey Emslie took the initial report, which is pending further investigation.

Criminal Mischief

On Tuesday, July 31 at approximately 7:45 p.m., a 64-year-old Manalapan resident reported that an unknown actor broke a garage window of a Daum Road residence, valued at approximately $25, possibly with a pellet gun. Patrolman Peter Bylsma took the report.

Theft
On Tuesday, July 31 at approximately 6:00 p.m., a 23-year-old Manalapan resident responded to Manalapan Township Police Headquarters and reported that an unknown actor(s) stole approximately $495 worth of cash from a wallet that was left at a Rt. 33 business between 10:00 p.m. on July 30, 2018 and 9:00 a.m. on July 31, 2018. Patrolman Peter Bylsma took the report.

Harassment
On Wednesday, August 1 at 7:10 p.m., a 37-year-old Manalapan resident responded to Manalapan Township Police Headquarters and reported harassment by a neighbor. No complaints were signed as a result of this incident. Patrolman Brian Schank handled the report.

Warrant Arrest
On Wednesday, August 1 at approximately 11:11 a.m., Patrolman Bart Mattaliano conducted a traffic stop on Rt. 9 for a motor vehicle violation. The driver of the vehicle, identified as Alex Mazurovskiy, a 35-year-old, married, self- employed, male, resident of Marlboro, was found to have a warrant issued for his arrest by the Jersey City Municipal Court in the amount of $250. Mr. Mazurovskiy was placed under arrest and transported to Manalapan Township Police Headquarters where he was processed and released after posting bail. Patrolman Bart Mattaliano was the arresting officer.

Warrant Arrest

On Monday, July 30 at approximately 5:00 p.m., Patrolman Charles Mazzatto and Patrolman Jason Vigneault conducted a motor vehicle stop on Secretariat Drive while attempting to locate a Manalapan resident regarding a warrant that had been issued for his arrest. As a result, Matthew Asciutto, a 30-year-old, unemployed, unmarried, male, resident of Manalapan was placed under arrest for the warrant that was issued by the Middlesex County Superior Court. Mr. Asciutto was subsequently transported to Manalapan Township Police Headquarters where he was processed and turned over to the Middlesex County Sheriff’s Office. Patrolman Jason Vigneault was the arresting officer.

Warrant Arrest

On Monday, July 30 at 11:50 p.m., Patrolman Aaron Abeles was investigating a motor vehicle crash that occurred in the parking lot of 55 Rt. 9 in Manalapan. The driver of one of the vehicles, Alexis Kubiak, a 22-year-old, unmarried, female, resident of Staten Island, NY, who is employed as a server, was found to have a warrant issued for her arrest by the Old Bridge Township Municipal Court in the amount of $300. Ms. Kubiak was placed under arrest and transported to Manalapan Township Police Headquarters where she was processed and released after posting bail. Patrolman Aaron Abeles was the arresting officer.

Warrant Arrest
On Tuesday, July 31 at 1:34 a.m., Francis Cammarano Jr., a 28-year-old, unmarried, unemployed, male, resident of Englishtown, was placed under arrest at the Englishtown Borough Police Department regarding a warrant that was issued for his arrest by the Manalapan Township Municipal Court in the amount of $1,000. Mr. Cammarano was subsequently processed and transported to the Monmouth County Correctional Institution in lieu of bail. Patrolman Sean McCarthy was the arresting officer.

Simple Assault
On Monday, July 30 at approximately 8:11 a.m., a 42-year-old Monroe Township resident reported that he was assaulted by a 27-year-old Manalapan resident while at the Dunkin Donuts located at 123 Rt. 33 in Manalapan. No injuries were reported as a result of this incident, which is pending complaints in Manalapan Township Municipal Court. Patrolman J. Morgan Joiner took the report.
