Theft
On Sunday, March 15, 2020, at approximately 8:50 p.m., the victim, a 27-year-old Manalapan, NJ resident responded to Manalapan Township Police Headquarters and reported an incident of theft. The victim advised that he had put several cellular phones for sale on an online website. He later learned that the buyer of the cellular phones was fraudulent and as a result, he did not receive payment. Patrolman Matthew Meyler handled the report.
Fraud/Identity Theft
On Saturday, March 14, 2020, at approximately 5:51pm, the victim, a 45-year-old Manalapan, NJ resident responded to Manalapan Township Police Headquarters to report an incident of Fraud/Identity Theft. The victim advised that an unknown actor(s) opened up a fraudulent credit card account utilizing her personal information. Patrolman James Guarino handled the report.

Theft of Property
On Friday, March 13, 2020, at approximately 6:20pm, the victim, a 24-year-old Manalapan, NJ resident responded to Manalapan Township Police Headquarters and reported an incident of Theft. The victim advised that an unknown actor(s) took his wallet that he left near an ATM after completing a transaction at a department store located on State Highway 9. On Friday, March 13, 2020, at approximately 11:59am, the victim, a 58-year-old Manalapan, NJ resident responded to Manalapan Township Police Headquarters and reported an incident of Fraud. The victim advised that an unknown actor(s) added a phone number to her business phone bill. Patrolman Mantas Stanionis handled the report.

On Thursday, March 12, 2020, at approximately 3:50pm, the victim, a 61-year-old Manalapan, NJ resident responded to Manalapan Township Police Headquarters and reported an incident of Fraud. The victim advised that an unknown actor(s) added six phone numbers to the victim’s phone bill. Patrolman Jeremy Slad handled the report.

On Thursday, March 12, 2020, at approximately 9:50am, the victim, a 65-year-old Manalapan, NJ resident responded to Manalapan Township Police Headquarters reported an incident of Fraud. The victim advised that on March 9, 2020, an unknown actor(s) utilized the victim’s cellular phone account information and fraudulently purchased three new cell phones. On Wednesday, March 11, 2020, at approximately 8:20pm, the victim, a 70-year-old Manalapan, NJ resident responded to Manalapan Township Police Headquarters and reported an incident of Fraud. The victim advised that an unknown actor(s) used the victim’s bank account information by fraudulently taking money out through an online software company. Patrolman Jeremy Slad handled the report.

On Wednesday, March 11, 2020, at approximately 8:24am, the victim, a 45-year-old Manalapan, NJ resident, responded to Manalapan Township Police Headquarters and reported an incident of Fraud / Identity Theft. The victim related that in March of 2020, an unknown actor(s) attempted to open a fraudulent credit card utilizing the victim’s pedigree information. Patrolman Kevin Ruditsky handled the report.
Vehicle Burglary
On Wednesday, March 11, 2020 at approximately 7:36am, patrols responded to a residence located on Silverleaf Way in reference to a report of a Vehicle Burglary. The victim, a 62-year-old Manalapan, NJ resident advised that two of her unlocked vehicles had several personal items removed sometime during the overnight hours. Patrolman Anthony Cascella handled the report.
Vehicle Burglary
On Tuesday, March 11, 2020, at approximately 7:10am, patrols responded to a residence located on Sandpiper Drive in reference to a report of a Vehicle Burglary. The victim, a 25-year-old Manalapan, NJ resident reported his locked vehicle was burglarized during the overnight hours. The victim related various personal items were removed from the vehicle. Patrolman Mantas Stanionis handled the report.
Vehicle Fire
On Tuesday, March 11, 2020, at approximately 12:42am, patrols responded to Stratford Drive in reference to a report of a Vehicle Fire. The victim, a 20-year-old Manalapan, NJ resident advised that his vehicle had begun to smoke, while he was inside his residence and then became engulfed in flames shortly thereafter. There were no injuries reported. Patrolman Douglas Zike handled the report.
