Warrant Arrest
On Sunday, May 20, 2018, at 11:02 a.m., Charles Metzler 3rd, a 28-year-old, unmarried, male, resident of Manalapan, who is employed as a technician, was arrested at his residence in Manalapan Township on two warrants that were issued for his arrest by the Manalapan Township Municipal Court in the amount of $1,000.00 and the Monroe Municipal Court in the amount of $1000.00. Mr. Metzler was processed and remanded to the Monmouth County Correctional Institute in lieu of bail. Patrolman Kevin Ruditsky handled the arrest.
Vandalism
On Saturday May 19, 2018 at approximately 1:26 am, Ptl. Kyle Earley was flagged down by a 20-year-old Manalapan resident who related unknown subject(s) threw eggs at his vehicle damaging his side view mirror between the hours of 9:00 pm and 1:00 am. At the time of the incident, the vehicle was parked in front of a residence on Pinehurst Drive. Ptl. Earley took the report.

Warrant Arrest
On Wednesday, May 16, 2018, at 1:10 p.m., Santiaguita Y. Coronel, a 37-year-old, unemployed, married, female, resident of Massachusetts turned herself in at Manalapan Township Police Headquarters regarding warrant that was issued for her arrest by the Manalapan Township Municipal Court in the amount of $1,000.00. Mrs. Santiaguita was processed and released after posting bail. Patrolman Chris Oleksy handled the arrest.

Theft
On Wednesday, May 16, 2018, at 10:19 a.m., a 59-year-old Manalapan resident reported that unknown actor(s) stole four Phoenix wheel cover simulators valued at $250.00 from his vehicle while it was parked at an Iron Ore Road residence. This incident occurred sometime between 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 15, 2018 and 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, May 16, 2018. Patrolman Joseph DeFilippis took the report, which is pending further investigation.
Warrant Arrest
On Tuesday, May 15, 2018, at 4:10 p.m., Ashley Towle, a 33-year-old, unmarried, female, resident of Massachusetts, who is employed as food server, turned herself in at Manalapan Township Police Headquarters regarding warrant that was issued for her arrest by the Manalapan Township Municipal Court in the amount of $1,000.00. Ms. Towle was processed and released after posting bail. Patrolman Adam Sosnowski handled the arrest.
Warrant Arrest
On Tuesday, May 15, 2018, at 4:50 p.m., Ali Korkut, a 19-year-old, unmarried, male, resident of Freehold, who is employed as a dry wall installer, turned himself in at Manalapan Township Police Headquarters regarding warrants that were issued for his arrest by the Howell Township Municipal Court in the amounts of $1,000.00 and $250.00. Mr. Korkut was processed and released on his own recognizance. Patrolman Adam Sosnowski handled the arrest.
Fraud
On Monday, May 14, 2018, an 87-year-old Manalapan resident contacted this agency in reference to a phone scam. Unknown actors had contacted the victim and related that a family member had been arrested. Furthermore, the victim was advised that fines would have to be paid via Wal-Mart gift cards. The victim purchased $7,300.00 worth of Wal-Mart gift cards between May 7, 2018 and May 10, 2018. The victim provided the caller with the serial numbers and security codes, allowing the dollar value on the cards to be accessed. The suspect’s area code comes back to an Alberta Canada exchange. Patrolman Seth Kreizman handled the report.
