MANALAPAN, NJ — Released by Manalapan police, all the arrests and incidents in the past two weeks:

Warrant Arrest, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Hindering Apprehension
On Tuesday, June 11, 2019, at approximately 1:04pm, patrols responded to a residence on Pension Road in reference to a report of trespassing. Upon arrival, patrols made contact with Max Borruso, a 26-year-old male, single, unemployed and resident of Manalapan, NJ and Alexandria Weber, a 25-year-old female, single, unemployed and resident of Manalapan, NJ. Further investigation revealed that Mr. Borruso had a warrant that was issued for his arrest by the Manalapan Township Municipal Court in the amount of $1,000.00 as well as six additional warrants including a no bail warrant from the Old Bridge Township Municipal Court. Mr. Borruso was also found to be in possession of drug paraphernalia. Ms. Weber was found to have a no bail warrant that was issued for her arrest by the Old Bridge Township Municipal Court. In addition, Ms. Weber was charged with hindering apprehension by providing a false name to police officers. Both subjects were arrested and transported to Manalapan Township Police Headquarters where they were processed, served with a summons and subsequently released to the custody of the Old Bridge Township Police Department. Patrolman Bart Mattaliano was the arresting officer.

Assault
On Tuesday, June 11, 2019, at approximately 5:35pm, patrols responded to a residence on Richard Court in reference to an assault report. The victim, a 47-year-old Cedar Grove, NJ resident advised that on Tuesday, June 11, 2019 at approximately 5:20pm, he was assaulted by a subject that he was attempting to serve court papers to. Patrolman Aaron Abeles was the responding officer.

Theft
On Monday, June 10, 2019, at approximately 7:48pm, the victim, a 60-year-old Freehold, NJ resident responded to Manalapan Township Police Headquarters in reference to a report of a theft. The victim advised that on Thursday, June 6, 2019, she provided a known subject with $260 to replace her windshield, however the repair was not completed. Patrolman Jason Vigneault was the
responding officer.

Burglary to a Motor Vehicle, Theft
On Saturday, June 8, 2019, at approximately 10:22am, the victim, a 58-year-old Manalapan, NJ resident from Millhurst Road responded to Manalapan Township Police headquarters and reported an incident of theft. The victim advised that sometime during the early morning hours on Saturday, June 8, 2019, an unknown actor entered his unlocked vehicle that was parked in the driveway of his residence on Millhurst Road. The actor then removed various items from his vehicle including a laptop and a projector totaling $1,340.00. The incident was handled by Patrolman Jason Vigneault and is pending further investigation.

Fraud
On Friday, June 7, 2019, at approximately 5:50pm, the victim, a 71-year-old Manalapan, NJ resident from Amberly Drive responded to Manalapan Township Police Headquarters and reported an incident of fraud. The victim advised that on Friday, June 7, 2019, he received a call from an unknown actor claiming to be an employee from the Social Security Administration. The unknown actor stated that the victim’s Social Security checks would be cancelled and that he would be arrested if the victim did not send him a Target gift card. The victim complied with the fraudulent request and suffered a monetary loss of $700. Patrolman Jason Vigneault was the responding officer.

Fraud
On Thursday, June 6, 2019, at approximately 3:54pm, the victim, a 45-year-old Manalapan, NJ resident, responded to Manalapan Township police headquarters and reported an incident of fraud. The victim advised that on Tuesday, June 4, 2019, an unknown actor obtained his credit card information and fraudulently made an online purchase in the amount of $404.58. Patrolman Christopher Makwinski was the responding officer.

Harassment
On Thursday, June 6, 2019, at approximately 1:00pm, the victim, a 35-year-old Manalapan, NJ resident responded to Manalapan Township Police Headquarters and reported an incident of harassment. The victim advised that on June 6, 2019 a known subject harassed the above victim in response to an ongoing business dispute. The victim received multiple phone calls, emails and text messages. Patrolman James Joiner was the responding officer.

Fraud, Identity Theft

On Thursday June 6, 2019, at approximately 12:01pm, a 51-year-old Manalapan, NJ resident from Lafayette Mills Road responded to Manalapan Township Police Headquarters and reported an incident of fraud. The victim advised that during the week of May 27, 2019, an unknown actor utilized the victim’s credit card information to make multiple fraudulent transactions totaling $3,608.82. In addition, the victim advised that an unknown actor had changed her mailing address through the United States Postal Service and had been receiving the victim’s mail. The incident was handled by Officer Jean Letts and is pending further investigation.

Fraud
On Wednesday, June 5, 2019, at approximately 01:30pm, patrols responded to a residence on Globar Terrace in reference to a report of fraud. The victim, a 54-year-old Manalapan, NJ resident advised that on Tuesday, June 4, 2019, an unknown actor hacked into her company email and sent out emails requesting payments to be wired to a fraudulent bank account. In addition, the unknown actor also obtained a company bank check and changed the payee information and fraudulently negotiated the check in the amount of $8,725.00. The incident was handled by Patrolman Charles Alaimo and is pending further investigation.

Criminal Mischief
On Wednesday, June 5, 2019, at approximately 1:15pm, the victim, a 61-yr-old Manalapan, NJ resident from Amberly Drive responded to Manalapan Township Police Headquarters and reported an incident of Criminal Mischief. The victim advised that on Wednesday, June 5, 2019, an unknown actor scratched her vehicle while it was parked in a parking lot on Amberly Drive. Patrolman Anthony Cascella was the responding officer.

Fraud
On Tuesday, June 4, 2019, at approximately 5:00pm, the victim, a 35-year-old Manalapan, NJ resident from Lone Star Lane responded to Manalapan Township Police Headquarters and reported an incident of Fraud. The victim advised that an unknown actor had used the victim’s personal information to open numerous credit cards and made fraudulent transactions totaling approximately $14,000.00. The incident was handled by Patrolman Kyle Earley and is pending further investigation.

Criminal Mischief

On Tuesday, June 4, 2019, at approximately 9:00am, patrols responded to a residence on Longwood Drive in reference to a report of Criminal Mischief. The victim, a 47-year-old Manalapan, NJ resident advised that sometime within the last few days, an unknown actor punctured three of the tires on his car while it was parked on Longwood Drive. Patrolman Kyle Earley was the responding officer.

Fraud

On Monday, June 3, 2019, at approximately 7:11pm, the victim, a 55-year-old Manalapan, NJ resident from Whitemarsh Drive reported an incident of fraud. The victim advised that on Monday, June 3, 2019, an unknown actor fraudulently opened a bank account using the victim’s personal information. Patrolman Peter Bylsma was the responding officer.

Theft of Property

On Tuesday, June 4, 2019, at approximately 11:27am, the victim, a 31-year-old Manalapan, NJ resident from Applegate Terrace, responded to Manalapan Township Police Headquarters and reported an incident of Theft. The victim advised that approximately two years ago he had a gold ring valued at $1,000.00 stolen from his residence. The victim related that on June 4, 2019, the victim located his missing gold ring at a jewelry store in Freehold, NJ. The store employee related that his ring was sold to the jewelry store approximately two years ago. The incident was handled by Patrolman Reginald Grant and is pending further investigation.

Burglary/Criminal Mischief
On Saturday, June 1, 2019, at approximately 5:17am, patrols responded to a business located on State Highway 33 in reference to the report of a burglary. Upon arrival, patrols met with a business employee who advised that video surveillance had recorded a burglary at that location. On Saturday, June 1, 2019, at approximately 2:01am, two unknown actors entered the property and immediately disconnected the power prior to entering the business. It does not appear anything was taken from the business. The incident was handled by Patrolman Matthew Mattia and is pending further investigation.

Harassment
On Friday, May 31, 2019, at approximately 4:00pm, the victim, a 36-year-old Manalapan, NJ resident, responded to Manalapan Township Police Headquarters in reference to a report of Harassment. The victim advised that a known subject has been repeatedly sending the victim vulgar messages via social media. Patrolman Mantas Stanionis was the responding officer.

Theft of Property
On Wednesday, May 29, 2019, at approximately 4:35pm, patrols responded to a business located on State Highway 33 in reference to the report of a theft. An employee of the business advised that on Tuesday, May 28, 2019, between the hours of 1:00pm and 2:00pm, an unknown actor received gasoline valued at $77.58 and left without paying. Patrolman Mantas Stanionis was the responding officer.
