Theft
On Sunday, November 19 at 11:48 a.m., a 54-year-old resident of East Windsor, NJ, reported that his construction dump trailer valued at $11,000.00 was removed from a residential property on Smithburg Road. The trailer contained half a ton of three-quarter-inch blue stone valued at $100. The trailer was removed from the property sometime between 10:00 p.m. November 18 and 11:48 a.m. November 19 by unknown actor(s). This incident was handled by Patrolman Joseph DeFilippis and remains under investigation.

Warrant Arrest
On Friday, November 17 at 12:31 p.m., Dwight E. Kelly a 48-year-old married, Asbury Park, NJ resident, currently employed as a lighting technician, turned himself in at Manalapan Township Police Headquarters regarding a $500 warrant that was issued for his arrest by the Manalapan Township Municipal Court. Mr. Kelly was processed and released after posting bail. Patrolman Jeff Emslie handled the arrest.
Theft of Property

On Tuesday, November 14 at approximately 9:30 p.m., a 63-year-old Manalapan resident contacted this agency to report a theft of property. The victim reported that a former employee is refusing to return approximately $2,607 worth of tools and equipment, to the victim, after the accused quit the job. This
case is pending further investigation. Patrolman Peter Bylsma handled the report.
Burglary to motor vehicle
On Thursday, November 16 at 4:00 p.m., a 30-year-old Manalapan resident reported that her vehicle was broken into during the early morning hours. The victim related that the suspect(s) entered her vehicle, which was unlocked and parked in her driveway. The victim indicated that approximately $20 worth of items was removed from the vehicle. Patrolman John Lightbody handled the report.
Motor Vehicle Theft
On Thursday, November 16 at 8:35 a.m., patrols responded to a residence on Deepwater Circle, for a report of a stolen motor vehicle. A white 2017 Mercedes Benz GLS, valued at $81,930, was taken from the victim’s driveway sometime between midnight and 8:30 am on Nov. 16. The vehicle was parked and left unlocked, with the key fob inside the vehicle. The victim is a 47-year-old Manalapan resident. The incident is under investigation by Ptl. Jeff Emslie.
Warrant Arrest
On Wednesday, November 15 at approximately 11:57 p.m., Ptl. Matthew Mattia conducted a motor vehicle stop on Rt. 33 West and Pegasus Blvd. The driver, Daniel J. Castro, a 32-year-old, divorced, male, East Windsor, NJ resident, who is employed as a driver, was found to have two traffic warrants out of East Windsor Municipal Court for his arrest totaling $1,000. Castro was arrested and transported to headquarters where he was processed and turned over to East Windsor PD. Castro was also issued a motor vehicle summons. Patrolman Matthew Mattia Handled the arrest.
Warrant Arrest
On Wednesday, November 15 at approximately 10:04 p.m., David Degidio, a 38-year-old, married, male, employed as a realtor, and Chatham, NJ resident, turned himself in on a $208 traffic warrant issued by the Manalapan Municipal Court. Mr. Degidio was arrested, processed and released after posting bail. Ptl.

Counterfeit Money
On November 16 at 11:46 p.m., patrols responded to the Wegman’s, 55 Rt. 9 Manalapan NJ, for a report of counterfeit money. Loss Prevention advised that on November 13 at 10:05 p.m., a female subject paid for groceries with a counterfeit $100 bill. The incident is under investigation by Ptl. Jeff Emslie
Theft of Property
On November 17 at 2:05 p.m., a 54-year-old female resident responded to police headquarters regarding a theft of property. Someone removed several pieces of jewelry sometime between July and November of 2017 from the bedroom closet in her residence. The suspect had to have access to the residence as no forced entry was observed. Removed was approximately $40,000 worth of jewelry. The victim provided 3 possible suspects who had access to the residence. The incident is currently under investigation. Ptl. Anthony Cascella handled the initial report.
