Warrant Arrest
On Sunday November 25 at approximately 6:24 p.m., Ptl. Kyle Earley conducted a motor vehicle stop on Rt. 9 for a traffic violation. The driver, Alpeshkum Patel, 45-year-old married male, Old Bridge resident, self-employed restaurant owner, was found to have a $500 traffic warrant from East Brunswick. Mr. Patel was arrested and transported to headquarters where he was processed
then released after posting bail. Ptl. Kyle Earley handled the arrest.

Fraud
On Sunday November 25 at 12:35 p.m., a 57-year-old resident of Manalapan reported that unknown actor(s) utilized her personal information to open a Macy’s credit card without her authorization. The unknown actor(s) completed fraudulent purchases on October 30, 2018 totaling $3,041.29. This incident was handled by Patrolman Joseph DeFilippis and is currently under investigation.

Warrant Arrest
On Sunday November 25 at 10:20 a.m., Patrolman John Lightbody conducted a motor vehicle stop on Rt. 33 after observing a motor vehicle violation. The driver, Cori Holland, a 29-year-old, unmarried, Burlington Township resident, employed as a horse groomer, was found to have a $1,000 traffic warrant issued out of the Chesterfield Municipal Court. Holland was transported to the Manalapan Township Police Department where she was processed and released after posting the full bail amount. Patrolman John Lightbody handled the arrest.

Warrant Arrest
On Saturday, November 24 at 11:57 a.m., Ptl. Matt Porricelli conducted a motor vehicle stop in the area of Route 522. Upon further investigation, the driver, 31-year-old single female shipping employee, Lauren Saldana of Freehold, NJ was found to have a $500.00 traffic warrant issued out of the Howell municipal court. Lauren was arrested, processed and released upon posting bail. Ptl. Matt Porricelli handled the arrest.

Shoplifting
On Saturday, November 24 at 10:08 a.m. patrols responded to Harmon’s on Rt. 9 for a report of a shoplifter. Upon arrival, store employees related the suspect left the store with three boxes of Coricidin valued at $18.00. He was a white male wearing a dark hat, dark hooded sweatshirt and blue jeans. He left the store, and fled the area on a black bicycle. Ptl. Anthony Cascella handled the
incident.

Warrant Arrest
On Saturday, November 24 at approximately 9:00 a.m., Patrolman Bart Mattaliano conducted a motor vehicle stop on US 9 North in Manalapan for a traffic violation. The driver of the vehicle, identified as Ramel Davis, a 35-year-old, unmarried, laborer, male, resident of Brooklyn, NY, was found to have a warrant issued for his arrest by the Absecon Municipal Court in the amount of $564.00. Mr. Davis was placed under arrest and transported to the Manalapan Township Police Headquarters where he was processed, posted bail, and was released pending a new court date. Patrolman Bart Mattaliano handled the arrest.

Attempted Burglary
On Friday, November 23 at approximately 7:40 p.m., patrols responded to Terence Drive for a report of a possible break-in to the residence. Upon arrival, patrols made contact with the homeowner who related his door was open and a latch to the door was bent. Patrols cleared the house yielding negative results. The homeowner related that nothing was taken. It should be noted that no damage was done to the structure of the door. Contact was made with a neighbor who related they were home for the past few hours and did not see anything or anyone. Ptl. Matt Porricelli handled the incident.

Warrant Arrest / Hindering Apprehension
On Friday, November 23 at 3:55 p.m., patrols responded to an Argyle Lane address in regard to a suspicious vehicle. During a subsequent investigation, a 19-year-old white female, Alexis R. Kubiak was found to have an outstanding warrant for her arrest totaling $750 issued out of the Aberdeen Township Municipal Court. Kubiak, a waitress, was arrested and transported to the Manalapan Township Police Department for processing. A male subject on location provided false information to law enforcement personnel and was later identified as 19-year-old black male, Khali S. Munroe of Sayreville. Munroe, an assistant, was found to have five active warrants for his arrest totaling $2,139 from the Old Bridge Municipal Court, Middletown Municipal Court, Roselle Municipal Court and Sayreville Municipal Court. Munroe was later arrested and charged with hindering apprehension. Munroe was charged, processed, and transported to the Monmouth County Correctional Institution in default of bail. Kubiak was processed and later released from police custody pending a future court appearance in the Aberdeen Township Municipal Court. Patrolman Philip Accatatta was the arresting officer.

Warrant Arrest
On Monday, November 19 at 12:50 p.m., David Jaramillo responded to this agency to satisfy a traffic summons. Jaramillo a 22-year-old, unemployed, single, resident of Cranbury, NJ was found to have six outstanding warrants from Somers Point, New Brunswick, East Windsor and Plainsboro municipal courts, for a total of $4,252.00. Jarmillo was turned over to Somers Point Police in lieu of bail. Ptl Seth Kreizman handled the arrest.

Warrant Arrest

On Monday, November 19 at 6:00 p.m., Darren Deckert, a 32-year-old, unmarried, male, resident of Camden, who is employed as an engineer, turned himself in at Manalapan Township Police Headquarters regarding a motor vehicle warrant in the amount of $1,000.00. Mr. Deckert was processed and released after posting bail. Patrolman Adam Sosnowski handled the arrest.

Simple Assault/Driving While Intoxicated
On Tuesday, November 20 at 2:28 p.m. patrols responded to the Valero Gas Station on Rt. 33 for an assault. Upon arrival, witnesses advise they observed a male assault a female in a red older model Honda Civic. The Honda was located travelling Route 33 eastbound and was subsequently stopped. The driver, identified as Eddie Anzalone, a 31-year-old, single, unemployed male from Florence, NJ was subsequently placed under arrest and charged with simple assault and Driving While Intoxicated. He was processed and remanded to the Monmouth County Correctional Institute. Ptl. Anthony Cascella handled the arrest.

Theft by Deception
On Wednesday, November 21, 2018 at 3:49 pm, a 39-year-old male business owner of Manalapan reported a theft by deception incident that occurred with his online business. The victim reported that he sold a cell phone worth $429.00 to a male subject in California. Upon the defendant receiving the item, he informed the victim that he wanted to return the cell phone. The defendant then sent a package back to the victim and EBAY refunded the defendant $429.00 based on the tracking information being received by the victim. The victim advised that he opened the package from the defendant only to find an empty wireless charging pad box with no cell phone. The victim needed a police report so they would not be charged by EBAY for the $429.00. Ptl. Matt Porricelli handled the report.
