MANALAPAN, NJ — Released by Manalapan police and unedited by Patch, here are all the arrests and incidents in the Township from Nov. 20 - Nov. 26:
Theft of Motor Vehicle
On Saturday November 25 at 2:34 p.m., a 28-year-old resident of Manalapan reported his 2016 Mercedes Benz E350 was stolen from his residence on Towne Drive. Unknown actor(s) stole the vehicle sometime
between Friday, November 24, 2017 8:30 p.m. and Saturday, November 25, 2017 2:00 p.m. The vehicle was locked and the keys were accounted for by the owner. The vehicle was recovered on November 26, 2017 at 10:00 pm in Newark, NJ by the Newark Police Department. This incident is currently under investigation and
was handled by Patrolman Joseph DeFilippis.

On Saturday, November 25, 2017, at approximately 10:38 pm, patrols responded to the Target Department Store located at 55 U.S Highway 9 South, in reference to a robbery. Further investigation led to the arrest of Alioune Dieng, a 23-year- old, single, Aberdeen, NJ resident, who is employed as a grocery associate. Mr. Dieng used physical force against a loss prevention officer while attempting to shoplift merchandise from the store. At the time of his arrest, Mr. Dieng was also in possession of marijuana, drug paraphernalia and various prescription medications. Mr. Dieng was transported to the Manalapan Township Police Department where he was processed and then later lodged in the Monmouth County Correctional Institution. Patrolman Douglas Zike handled the arrest.

On November 25, 2017, Detective Kenneth Mikulik conducted a motor vehicle stop on Wilson Avenue at approximately 12:00 pm for after observing a motor vehicle violation. The driver of the vehicle, identified as 61-year-old Felix Herrera-Sanchez of New Brunswick, who is an unemployed, single male, was found to have a no bail warrant that was issued for his arrest by the Middlesex County Sherriff’s Department. Felix Herrera-Sanchez was subsequently arrested, processed, and transported to the Monmouth County Correctional Facility. Felix Herrera-Sanchez was issued a motor vehicle citation for driving with a suspended driver’s license, driving without a valid license, and for not having a valid inspection decal on his vehicle. Detective Kenneth Mikulik was the arresting officer.
Warrant Arrest
On Saturday November 25, 2017 at 10:09 am, Daniel Jasinski, a 26-year-old, married, male, Freehold Township resident, employed as a union construction worker, turned himself in for a $228.00 traffic warrant issued by the Manalapan Township Municipal Court. Jasinski posted his bail in full and was released. Patrolman Joseph DeFilippis was the arresting officer.
Harassment
On Friday November 24, 2017 at 2:58 pm, patrols responded to Walgreens on State Highway 33 for a customer threatening an employee. A 31-year-old from Manalapan advised a known subject threatened to strike him. The victim did not want to pursue complaints and the accused subject was prohibited from returning to the business in the future. This incident was handled by Patrolman Joseph DeFilippis.
Warrant Arrest
On Friday November 24, 2017 at 9:49 pm, Patrolman John Lightbody conducted a motor vehicle stop on Route 522, after observing a motor vehicle violation. The driver, John M. Russo, a 32-year-old, married, Manalapan resident, employed as a machine operator, was found to have a $219.00 traffic warrant issued by the Freehold Township Municipal Court. Russo was transported to the Manalapan Township Police Department, where he was processed and released after posting bail. Patrolman John Lightbody handled the arrest.
Theft
On Friday November 24, 2017 at approximately 2:00 pm, a 28-year-old, Keyport resident reported that unknown actor(s) stole $584.00 in cash from his wallet while shopping at the Marshalls Department Store in Manalapan. Theft
On Thursday, November 23, 2017, at approximately 1:26 pm, a 35-year-old Manalapan resident reported that an unknown actor(s) had stolen a tailgate valued at approximately $1,500.00, off of a Ford F150 pickup truck, while it was parked on Pension Road. The theft is reported to have occurred between 4:00 pm on Tuesday, November 21, 2017 and 11:00 am on Thursday, November 23, 2017. This incident is pending further investigation. Shoplifting
On Thursday, November 23, 2017, at approximately 10:33 am, loss prevention employees of the Wegman’s Supermarket, located at 55 Route 9 in Manalapan reported that Brittany Meyer, a 31-year-old, unmarried, unemployed, female, resident of Freehold had shoplifted items valued at $205.00. Ms. Meyer was subsequently placed under arrest and transported to Manalapan Township Police Headquarters where she was processed and released after being issued a complaint summons. Patrolman Douglas Zike made the arrest.
Driving While Intoxicated
On Tuesday, November 21, 2017, at approximately 1:50 am, Patrolman Jeannie Letts, Patrolman Brian Cruse, and Patrolman Matthew Porricelli responded to a report of a Motor Vehicle Crash involving one vehicle and a telephone pole on Union Hill Road in Manalapan Township. As a result of the investigation, the driver, identified as Daniel Lebedinsky, a 21-year-old, unemployed, unmarried, resident of Brooklyn, New York, was found to be Driving While Intoxicated. Mr. Lebedinsky was placed under arrest and transported to Manalapan Township Police Headquarters where he was processed and released to a family member
after being issued summonses. A passenger in the vehicle was transported to Centra State Medical Center as a precaution, however, no significant injuries were reported.
