Fraud
On Tuesday, October 29, 2019, at approximately 9:49pm, patrols responded to a business located on State Highway 9 in reference to a report of Fraud. An employee of the business advised that on October 29, 2019, an unknown actor made a purchase utilizing a counterfeit $100.00 bill. Patrolman Peter Bylsma was the responding officer.

Fraud
On Tuesday, October 29, 2019, at approximately 4:00pm, patrols responded to a residence on Lamb Lane in reference to a report of Fraud. The victim, a 68-year-old Manalapan, NJ resident advised that between August and October of 2019, an unknown subject utilized the victim’s personal information to fraudulently open two lines of credit. Patrolman Sean McCarthy was the responding officer.

Trespassing
On Monday, October 28, 2019, at approximately 4:24pm, patrols responded to a business located on Woodward Road in reference to the report of a subject trespassing. The subject, a 52-year-old male, single, unemployed and resident of Manalapan, NJ was found to be in violation of a trespassing order. He was issued a summons for defiant trespassing. Patrolman Aaron Abeles was the responding officer.

Warrant Arrest
On Sunday, October 27, 2019, at approximately at 11:52pm, Patrolman Kyle Williams conducted a motor vehicle stop on State Highway 9 for a traffic violation. The driver of the vehicle, a 27-year-old female, single, employed as a dental assistant and resident of Freehold, NJ was found to have a warrant that was issued for her arrest by the Freehold Township Municipal Court in the amount of $1,000.00. She was arrested and transported to Manalapan Township Police Headquarters where she was processed and released after posting bail. Patrolman Kyle Williams was the arresting officer.

Theft, Criminal Mischief
On Sunday, October 27, 2019, at approximately 1:21pm, patrols responded to a business located on Gordons Corner Road in reference to a report of Theft. The business owner advised that sometime between 10:30pm on October 26, 2019 and 1:00pm on October 27, 2019, an unknown actor forcibly opened two cooking oil containers and removed 400 gallons of cooking oil valued at $800.00. The incident was handled by Patrolman Joseph DeFilippis and is pending further investigation.

Harassment
On Saturday, October 26, 2019, at approximately 10:52pm, patrols responded to a residence located on Meadow Green Circle in reference to the report of Harassment. The victim, a 61-year-old Manalapan, NJ resident advised that she is being harassed by her neighbors. Patrolman Joseph DeFilippis was the responding officer.

Theft, Criminal Mischief
On Saturday, October 26, 2019, at approximately 7:48pm, patrols responded to a residence on Parkview Way in reference to a report of Theft and Criminal Mischief. The victim, a 55-year-old Manalapan, NJ resident advised that sometime between 6:00pm on October 21, 2019 and 6:00pm on October 26, 2019, an unknown actor removed a camera mounted on the victim’s residence and then damaged the victim’s vehicle by puncturing two tires. Patrolman Jason Vigneault was the responding officer.

Assault
On Saturday, October 26, 2019, at approximately 9:03am, patrols responded to a business located on Wilson Avenue in reference to the report of an assault. Further investigation revealed that a physical altercation occurred between a 66-year-old Englishtown, NJ resident and a 73-year-old Manalapan, NJ resident. Patrolman Brian Schank was the responding officer.

Terroristic Threats
On Friday, October 25, 2019, at approximately 9:52am, the victim, a 35-year-old Manalapan, NJ resident from Stirling Court responded to Manalapan Township Police Headquarters and reported an incident of Terroristic Threats. The victim advised that on October 20, 2019, a known subject threatened the victim during a verbal dispute. Patrolman Joseph DeFilippis was the responding officer.

Warrant Arrest
On Thursday, October 24, 2019, at approximately 8:49pm, patrols responded to a business on State Highway 33 in reference to the report of a welfare check. The subject, a 26-year-old female, single, unemployed and resident of Parlin, NJ was found to have two warrants that were issued for her arrest by the Monmouth County Prosecutor’s Office in the amount of $10,000. She was arrested and transported to Manalapan Township Police Headquarters where she was processed and transported to the Monmouth County Correctional Institution in default of bail. Patrolman Douglas Zike was the arresting officer.

Arrest (Possession of Less Than 50 grams of Marijuana)
On Thursday, October 24, 2019, at approximately 1:13pm, Patrolman Scott Rindsberg conducted a motor vehicle stop on State Highway 33 for a traffic violation. The passenger, a 39-year-old male, single, employed as a laborer and resident of Freehold, NJ was found to be in possession of less than 50 grams of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. He was arrested and transported to Manalapan Township Police Headquarters where he was processed and released after being served with a summons. Patrolman Scott Rindsberg was the arresting officer.

Fraud

On Thursday, October 24, 2019, at approximately 8:57am, the victim, a 75-year-old Manalapan, NJ resident from Turnberry Drive responded to Manalapan Township Police Headquarters and reported an incident of Fraud. The victim advised that he was contacted, via phone, by an unknown actor purporting to be an agent of the United States Treasury Department. The unknown actor told the victim that the victim’s identity and social security number had been compromised and demanded that the victim send a $3,000.00 payment in order to reinstate the victim’s identity. The victim agreed with the demand and sent $3,000.00 in gift cards to the unknown actor only to learn later that this was a scam. The incident was handled by Patrolman Christopher Oleksy and is pending further investigation.

Harassment
On Wednesday, October 23, 2019, at approximately 9:08pm, the victim, a 19-year-old Manalapan, NJ resident responded to Manalapan Township Police Headquarters and reported an incident of Harassment. The victim advised that he had sent illicit photographs of himself to an unknown subject that the victim met through an online dating application. After receiving the images, the
unknown actor demanded that the victim send $500.00 or the pictures would be dispersed across social media. The incident was handled by Patrolman Ryan Brady and is pending further investigation.

Fraud
On Wednesday, October 23, 2019, at approximately 5:31pm, patrols responded to a residence located on Millhurst Road in reference to a report of Fraud. The victim, an 81-year-old Manalapan, NJ resident advised that she had given her credit card information to an unknown actor on the phone after being advised she could win a monetary prize. The unknown actor used the victim’s credit card and made a fraudulent purchase in the amount of $66.00. Patrolman Ryan Brady was the responding officer.

Theft of Property
On Wednesday, October 23, 2019, at approximately 9:31am, patrols responded to a residence located on Amberly Drive in reference to a report of Theft. The victim, a 77-year-old Manalapan, NJ resident advised that on October 20, 2019, an unknown actor removed the victim’s wallet from the residence. There were no signs of forced entry and the victim advised that she was present at the residence during the time at which the wallet was removed. Patrolman Scott Rindsberg was the responding officer.

Fraud

On Wednesday, October 23, 2019, at approximately 8:53am, the victim, a 54-year-old Manalapan, NJ resident from Belle Terre Drive responded to Manalapan Township Police Headquarters and reported an incident of Fraud. The victim advised that on October 17, 2019, an unknown actor fraudulently utilized her department store credit card and made an online purchase in the amount of $28.00. Officer Letts was the responding officer.

Terroristic Threats
On Tuesday, October 22, 2019, at approximately 7:00pm, patrols responded to a residence on Tennent Road for a report of Terroristic Threats. Upon arrival, the victim, a 46-year-old Manalapan, NJ resident advised that on October 22, 2019, the victim posted a picture on social media of an illegally parked vehicle. On October 22, 2019, at approximately 5:30 pm, the same vehicle arrived at the victim’s residence and the victim was confronted and threatened by an unknown actor. Patrolman Adam Sosnowski was the responding officer.

Warrant Arrest
On Tuesday, October 22, 2019, at approximately 12:00pm, patrols responded to the Old Bridge Police Department and took custody of a 27-year-old male, single, employed as a mechanic, and resident of Manalapan, NJ. He had a warrant that was issued for his arrest by the Manalapan Township Municipal Court in the amount of $1,000.00. He was processed and transported to the Monmouth County Correctional Intuition in default of bail. Patrolmen Scott Rindsberg was the arresting officer.

Fraud
On Monday, October 21, 2019, at approximately 2:54pm, patrols responded to a business located on State Highway 9 in reference to a report of Fraud. An employee of the business advised that on October 21, 2019, at approximately 2:15pm, a known subject entered the business and attempted to receive medication with a fraudulently obtained prescription. The subject was not provided the medication and left the store without incident. The incident was handled by Patrolman Joseph DeFilippis and is pending further investigation.

Warrant Arrest
On Monday, October 21, 2019, at approximately 10:28am, Patrolman Bart Mattaliano conducted a motor vehicle stop on State Highway 33 for a motor vehicle violation. The passenger, a 60-year-old male, married, employed as a laborer and resident of Fairton, NJ had two warrants that were issued for his arrest. The first warrant was issued by the Cumberland-Salem Regional Municipal Court in the amount of $1,502.00 and the second warrant was issued by the Upper Deerfield Court in the amount of $1,002.00. He was arrested and transported to Manalapan Township Police Headquarters where he was processed and released after posting bail. Patrolman Bart Mattaliano was the arresting officer.

Warrant Arrest
On Monday, October 21, 2019, at approximately 10:26am, a 37- year-old male, single, employed as a chef and resident of Edison NJ, turned himself in at Manalapan Township Police Headquarters regarding a warrant that was issued for his arrest by the Manalapan Township Municipal Court in the amount of $1000.00. He was processed and released without bail as per the court. Patrolman Kevin Ruditsky was the arresting officer.

Warrant Arrest
On Monday, October 21, 2019, at approximately 9:18am, a 21-year-old female, single, employed as a nurse’s aide and resident of East Orange NJ, turned herself in at Manalapan Township Police Headquarters regarding a warrant that was issued for her arrest by the Manalapan Township Municipal Court in the amount of $1000. She was processed and released without bail as per the court. Patrolman Kevin Ruditsky was the arresting officer.

Fraud/Theft

On Sunday, October 20, 2019, at approximately 1:50pm, the victim, a 72-year-old Manalapan, NJ resident responded to Manalapan Township Police Headquarters and reported an incident of Fraud. The victim advised that he had sold a motor vehicle part online for $99.00 but the buyer requested a refund. The buyer then sent back a different part than the one sold by the victim. Patrolman Jeff Emslie was the responding officer.

Assault
On Saturday, October 19, 2019, at approximately 7:21am, patrols responded to Tennent Road in reference to the report of an Assault. The victim, a 21-year-old Manalapan, NJ resident advised that on October 19, 2019, at approximately 7:00am, the victim was assaulted while at an unknown residence in Manalapan. The victim would not provide any additional information and refused to proceed with the investigation. Patrolman Joseph DeFilippis was the responding officer.

Theft by Deception
On Friday, October 18, 2019, at approximately 3:50pm, the victim, a 56-year-old Brick, NJ resident responded to Manalapan Township Police Headquarters and reported an incident of Theft. The victim advised that his son purchased a pair of sneakers from an online vendor located in Manalapan, NJ for $220.00. The victim later determined that the sneakers were counterfeit and he was not refunded his money. Patrolman Christopher Makwinski was the responding officer.

Warrant Arrest
On Thursday, October 17, 2019, at approximately 4:40pm, a 22-year-old male, single, self employed and resident of Asbury Park, NJ turned himself in at Manalapan Township Police Headquarters regarding a warrant that was issued for his arrest by the Asbury Park Court in the amount of $1000. He was processed and released after posting bail. Patrolman Aaron Abeles was the arresting officer.

Buglary
On Thursday, October 17, 2019, at approximately 11:02am, patrols responded to a business located on State Highway 9 in reference to the report of a burglary. The owner of the business advised that sometime between 5:00pm on October 16, 2019 and 9:00am on October 17, 2019, an unknown actor gained access to the business by forcing entry to a rear door. There were no items reported missing. The incident was handled by Patrolman Scott Rindsberg and is pending further investigation.

Warrant Arrest
On Thursday, October 17, 2019, at approximately 10:50am, a 26-year-old male, single, employed as a granite installer and resident of Manalapan, NJ turned himself in at Manalapan Township Police Headquarters regarding a warrant that was issued by the Trenton Court in the amount of $250.00. He was processed and released after posting bail. Patrolman Kyle Earley was the arresting officer.
